Trusted teacher: After successfully completing his music studies (Music Bachelor), he won a grant from the Brazilian government and emigrated to the Netherlands to take up postgraduate studies at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Prof. Vladimir Mendelssohn. He received his Masters in Solo Performance and Chamber Music with Honors. His diverse musical activities have taken him - both as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher - on concert tours to Brazil, Portugal, France, Germany, Austria, Eastern Europe, North Africa and Asia. Jadenir lived in Vienna from 2007 to 2016. There he performed between 2005 and 2010 as principal violist of the “Spirit of Europe” chamber orchestra, in which he was also a member of the artistic advisory board and was involved in planning-relevant decisions on artistic and organizational issues. He also played in the RSO Vienna and the Ambassade Orchestra Vienna. Jadenir has lived and worked in Berlin since 2016. With chamber music as the center of his life, he founded several ensembles with different line-ups in 2017. In addition to his artistic activity, viola lessons have been an important part of his life for many years. As a viola teacher, he has been in close contact with music festivals and music schools since 2007, especially those that are dedicated to social projects. About my viola lessons I offer dynamic and playful lessons. The goal of my lessons is to break the barrier between music and technology, so these are not taught separately from each other. Rather, I see technology as the merging of movement, breathing and sound. Beginners and advanced learners of all ages from 10 years are welcome. I convey all kinds of music, their style and technique. I am happy to help advanced students prepare for entrance exams, auditions, auditions and competitions. I also offer coaching for chamber music ensembles. The key to successful viola lessons lies in a transparent and open exchange: I therefore encourage the students to share their needs and expectations; and the family is also involved in their musical development. My two main instruments were made especially for me and I was able to exchange ideas with the violin makers during the instrument making, which gave me extensive knowledge of the manufacture, setup and care of a string instrument. I am also happy to pass on my knowledge to my students in this area. Because with the growing understanding of the acoustics of the viola, one's own playing technique and trust in the instrument develop. English, Portuguese, Spanish or Italian are also possible as the language of instruction.

Trusted teacher: All levels from beginner to advanced are welcome. I teach ages 4-18. My teaching style is friendly and every lesson is designed to suit each individual student, whatever their needs may be. I am enthusiastic about teaching and I enjoy conveying my passion for music to my students. Lessons are designed to be fun and to help each pupil achieve their musical goal. I can help with GCSE and A level music work as well as the composition and performance aspects of these exams. I can aid with secondary school music auditions and conservatoire/university auditions. For instrumental teaching I do both theory and practical grades to help with progression of the instrument. Music grades, I teach grade 1- diploma level on the violin and grades 1- 5 on the piano. I can teach grades 1-5 in music theory. I use both ABRSM and Trinity College London exam boards, tailoring the choice of the exam board to the needs and desires of the student. My lessons are designed to be enjoyed so there is the option to learn to play for fun or you can take exam grades. I like to build repertoire around exam grades in order to broaden the knowledge of other pieces. As well as working privately I also work with the Peterborough Music Hub delivering whole class instrumental lessons as well as small group and 1-1 music lessons at local schools. I am also an upper strings tutor with the Peterborough Youth Orchestra. Online Skype lessons currently available. Feel free to contact me and I look forward to hearing from you.

The Suzuki Method is a highly successful learning approach for very young children to senior citizens. I know this because I am a trained Suzuki teacher through the Suzuki Association of Americas for all Suzuki Books 1-10 including supplemental courses. Additionally, I have been teaching for over 20 years and I have used the Suzuki Method to work with senior citizens who have become quite proficient players as well as nurturing 2 year olds through to the Tchaikovsky violin concerto well before they turn 16 years old. I will tailor the lessons to you and coach you on your practice assignments so your progression can be well charted, goals are clearly understood, and the success will be evident. In the Suzuki Method, we will cover all aspects of a balanced violin lesson: Solo pieces, Technique (scales, etudes, new technical concepts, musicianship), Music Theory, Aural Skills, Music Reading, Sight Reading, Methods of Practicing, and Chamber music playing. If you are interested in having your young child begin lessons (under 12), I will work with the Parent and Child in order to create a cohesive and supportive system at home for practice time. Classes can be done through Zoom or if you have an Apple device, Face Time. Suzuki Books 1-10 are not actually "method" books. It is the way the teacher is trained to teach that embodies the "Suzuki Method". Therefore, there are many other resources Suzuki teachers use in addition to the Suzuki Books 1-10 (sequenced solo repertoire) to support the violinist. For instance, there are books for just music reading/rhythm training, scale/arpeggio books, etude books, supplemental solo repertoire, duet books and much more. Whatever your goal is to learn the violin, I am here to support you on this path. Once you have a good foundation in playing, your options for crossover to other playing styles are easily attainable.
