I am a violinist, composer and music producer. At each stage of learning, I want to arouse the curiosity of the world of music and beautiful sounds in the student. In my lessons we educate not only the violin technique, but also the hearing, which is extremely important when playing this instrument.

I'm friends with the violin for more than 17 years and as an academically educated musician, I believe I can help you befriend it too! My main goal is for the student to develop interest and love for the violin, and the music itself. That way you will want to learn more and the instrument will become your friend, then - the skill will come inevitably. We are not learning music to stress about it but to enjoy it! I believe in an individual approach to every person, and I respect different temperaments and learning pace. I consider technique important, but what I find even more important is listening and finding the right technique through the sound and not the other way around :) I am patient and understanding, and I will do my best to make your learning take place in a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere without judging and harsh criticism.

Music is a powerful tool. It brings people closer and allows you to express and experience things you probably never even imagined. I’m a violinist who just graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, Under Eliot Lawson’s tutoring, and who now studies with Lisa Jacobs. I have a lot of experience teaching and performing in several countries around Europe. During my lessons, I hope to not only help you become a better violinist and overall musician, so I will not only give you musical and technical insight, but also a sprinkle of music theory. The violin is one of the most lyrical and yet versatile instruments: give it a try!

My courses are aimed at all those who have the desire to discover the violin. I adapt to the personality and needs of each one. The repertoire to work will depend on the musical tastes of the student. There are no prerequisites for learning to play the violin, you just have to feel like doing it! My courses vary depending on the student's needs. In a first stage, we work on posture and breathing, followed by bowing exercises, where we look for a connection between the fingers, the hand and the arm. Finally we will work on music. The violin a unique instrument to each person, that is why each one must learn to feel and understand how to adapt their body in the healthiest way possible. Developing a body awareness will allow us to progress in the playing of the violin.I adapt my teaching method to meet the students needs. I use the "Suzuki Method" for the teaching of violin, viola and piano as it uses memorizing trough singing and also reading technique.

Graduated in Musical Interpretation. I propose a form of teaching inspired by the Galamian teacher and the knowledge that I have gained throughout my career. My goal is to get the student to learn music and to play the violin in a natural and dynamic way.

With 20 years of performance experience and 10 years of teaching experience, I strive to share my love for music with all of my students. I have worked as a professional violinist in New York City, and have performed at esteemed venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. In addition to my classical experience, I have spent the last two years touring the country with the critically acclaimed Broadway show Miss Saigon. The Suzuki Method is a highly successful learning approach for very young children to senior citizens. I know this because I am a trained Suzuki teacher through the Suzuki Association of Americas for all Suzuki Books 1-10 including supplemental courses. Additionally, I have been teaching for over 20 years and I have used the Suzuki Method to work with senior citizens who have become quite proficient players as well as nurturing 2 year olds through to the Tchaikovsky violin concerto well before they turn 16 years old. I will tailor the lessons to you and coach you on your practice assignments so your progression can be well charted, goals are clearly understood, and the success will be evident. In the Suzuki Method, we will cover all aspects of a balanced violin lesson: Solo pieces, Technique (scales, etudes, new technical concepts, musicianship), Music Theory, Aural Skills, Music Reading, Sight Reading, Methods of Practicing, and Chamber music playing. If you are interested in having your young child begin lessons (under 12), I will work with the Parent and Child in order to create a cohesive and supportive system at home for practice time. Classes can be done through Zoom or if you have an Apple device, Face Time. Suzuki Books 1-10 are not actually "method" books. It is the way the teacher is trained to teach that embodies the "Suzuki Method". Therefore, there are many other resources Suzuki teachers use in addition to the Suzuki Books 1-10 (sequenced solo repertoire) to support the violinist. For instance, there are books for just music reading/rhythm training, scale/arpeggio books, etude books, supplemental solo repertoire, duet books and much more. Whatever your goal is to learn the violin, I am here to support you on this path. Once you have a good foundation in playing, your options for crossover to other playing styles are easily attainable.

Violin lessons for all ages and abilities. Carl is an experienced teacher, graduating with a BMus degree and Licentiate of Trinity College London teaching diploma in 2014. In addition to his successful varied performing career to date, performing around the world on cruise ships and touring with a tradition village green circus, he has taught individual and group lessons at private and state schools and for his local music service. Carl focuses on developing a solid technique early on and uses creative methods to engage all ages and abilities with the enjoyment of playing being the heart of each lesson. He has a 100% pass rate with his pupils who take examinations with ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall for pupil's looking to progress in this way, however Carl also teaches for fun or pupil's looking for a new hobby. I am a violinist living in London and have a masters degree from the Royal Academy of Music. I enjoy teaching violin at any level, whether beginner, through ABRSM grades or beyond, and I currently teach children's music and piano. I can also offer a general introduction for beginners with examples of classical music and discussion.

I teach violin (and fiddle), oboe, music theory/transcription, from beginners to advanced students ages 5 and up. Lessons will be tailored to each pupil’s individual needs and can include: music reading and theory, learning by ear, preparation towards graded examinations, musical wellbeing, technique and repertoire building. I have taken courses where I studied extensive methods of managing physical and mental symptoms of being a musician, the importance of breathing/movement, relaxation and concentration exercises, how to improve practice technique and how to avoid injury. This is something I strive to incorporate in to my lessons, helping with learning and development and inspiring the joy of music!
