Having explored many different violin methods and styles, I take a different approach according to each student. I like to teach a solid classical technique with some scales, studies and pieces, but there are many different ways to make music enjoyable or find other paths depending on the student's goal. Although I was trained classically in Belgian Conservatoires and the Guildhall School of Music, I do like to teach a variety of music that is not just classical (Celtic, world, klezmer, jazz, tango, film music, pop...).
