My name is Matteo Schifanoia, I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer, and vocal coach with 20 years of experience in music. I offer singing lessons for all levels. My lessons focus on developing body, muscle, and vocal awareness, which helps us perceive and consider our bodies as musical instruments. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to the musical repertoire and learning the musical language (jazz or pop or other genre). The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of abdominal muscles, to the emission of air to the resonance cavities. We will work on the sound, on the extension of the voice, on the high and low notes, on the passage of register, on the control, on the power and agility. From a repertoire perspective, the lessons will be tailored to the student's needs and interests, with an emphasis on proper stage presence and posture. I can prepare students for conservatory entrance exams and all types of auditions. If the student wishes, I can also provide instruction in harmony and music reading.

Hi, I'm an active opera singer and I offer one-to-one online singing lessons to students of all ages and abilities. I have a Master of fine arts (Department of Vocal and Acting Studies) from Lodz Musical Accademy in Poland and I've performed professionally as an opera singer in Baltic Opera. In 2020 I got a special scholarship from prestigious Accademia D'Arte Lirica in Italy. Apart from opera experience, I was a leader of the alternative rock band for many years. Currently I continue my career in Italy singing in many opera theaters and teaching. As a vocal coach I specialize in multi-genre styles such as classical, musical, pop, rock and jazz. I put emphasis on the breathing techniques, enhancing body awareness, correct emission, musicality, interpretation, pure intonation and diction. I create original lesson plans that contour to my students individual needs. I provide a compassionate and creative learning environment in addition to a solid foundation in classical technique and musical fundamentals. My methods consist of warm-ups that help understand breath support and vocal placement to improve vocal awareness and stretch range. Psychology is a very important factor in my teaching method, because I believe that singing is also a great therapy. I teach children, teenagers, adults and senior (beginners to more advanced). Hello! I’m Elena, I’m Italian and I’m an opera singer, currently actively performing in the contemporary field :) On top of my artistic career, which is now 20+ years old, I have 10 years of solid everyday experience in the musical teaching field, with particular regards for online teaching. My specialties are: teaching opera voice and kids’ vocality. For both of these, any level, even absolute beginner is 100% welcome! I’ve been training children and teens ever since I graduated from my position at La Scala children choir at 18 years old. I love working with kids, and it warms my heart to think of how many little faces I have already had the privilege of meeting thanks to this career. I have helped so many access to the children choirs of their respective cities, and with so many many others I have simply participated in their musical learning journey, which makes me equally proud and happy. Teaching adults is a completely different matter, of course, but it’s probably even more thrilling to me because it allows me to spend the day navigating the fascinating routes of lyrical singing technique. I know how opera studies can be confusing - to say the least; I try my best to represent a safe place for anybody who wants to explore this ancient form of art, as well as to clarify its key points and guide my students to building a correct repertoire. I give lessons for any kind of purpose: - learning music - improving musicality - preparing an audition - finding our own voice - overcoming insecurity Everybody is different, so everybody has their own path to go through; I cater my lessons to the pupil’s needs, and even if the method is always classical, I make sure that the hour of lesson is a fun moment as well as a learning experience.
