Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress.

I teach students of every level, I work privately, in person and online. I teach all ages, from children to adults, from level “zero” to students who want to prepare for exams in Conservatories, but also amateurs or people who just want to try some piano lessons.

My teaching method is changing with time. The more I teach, the more I learn from my students. I see teaching as a dynamic experience, and I welcome the students to give feedbacks and set their own goals, in order to give them my best advices and guidance. I offer advanced private studies in jazz composition, improvisation, arranging, and related musical practices for dedicated musicians, composers, and advanced students. My teaching draws equally from long-term professional experience as a performer, composer, and producer, as well as formal studies with Kálmán Oláh and Béla Faragó at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, and with Darcy James Argue and Chris Zuar at the Manhattan School of Music in New York.

I'm an established, qualified, and experienced violin teacher who has worked in London for the last 26 years. I'm now back in Belgium for some new musical adventures, as well as to meet new students.

I welcome students from the age of four to adults. I have a real passion for transmitting my love of music, and I like to have a creative, playful and holistic approach to teaching. I also play the piano and often use it for aural training or to accompany my students (or do violin duets). I do believe that music is not just for competitions or exams but a skill for life that can bring tremendous joy, discoveries, friends and fun along the way. Learning an instrument is also a great way to foster different qualities such as patience, diligence, presence, resilience, deep listening and the ability to express and share our emotions with others.

Having explored many different violin methods and styles, I take a different approach according to each student. I like to teach a solid classical technique with some scales, studies and pieces, but there are many different ways to make music enjoyable or find other paths depending on the student's goal.

Although I was trained classically in Belgian Conservatoires and the Guildhall School of Music, I do like to teach a variety of music that is not just classical (Celtic, world, klezmer, jazz, tango, film music, pop...).
I often encourage my students to compose or improvise freely. In the last two decades, I have led many youth orchestras and violin workshops and worked for many different primary and secondary schools in England.
