Art is a special medium that can be used in many different forms to elicit one's feelings, emotions, and purview of the world around them both its beauty and ugliness. I'm a Fine Art graduate from University of the Arts London (UAL) - I currently specialise in photography and videography. However I have taught a range of different art disciplines from painting, drawing, design, crafts and sculpture. On a regular basis I teach children from ages 4-11 but I have experience teaching teenagers and adults as well. During lessons we can focus on a particular discipline such as painting or drawing, work on a project that someone has already started in their own time or I can assist with portfolios or sketchbooks for GCSE/AS/A Levels/Foundation/Degree. These classes are for everyone, ranging from fun creative art play for younger years to older years wanting to learn a new skill or develop a hobby. Having the ability to be creative and explore art is so beneficial for both children and adults and I aim to make my lessons as supportive, fun, engaging and positive as possible.

Graduated from a Masters in interior architecture at the National School of Visual Arts in La Cambre for 3 years, I offer private lessons in sketch and watercolor drawing in Brussels. My lessons are suitable for children and adults of all levels. From the first class you will already see progress, my approach is fairly free, the trick is to trust you and let go a little bit through spontaneous gestures, it's very meditative ... :-) The lessons can be given to several people at the same time, I will ask for a small supplement per additional person.

This course is for people who are working on building a visual arts/design portfolio and/or are looking for feedback/tips on artworks. You'll learn how to strategically organize a portfolio and how to best showcase your work. I can also provide tips on how to use Adobe programs (ie. Photoshop, Illustrator) to enhance both traditional and digital art. In terms of enhancing the portfolio as a whole, this course will also teach you what can be added to improve the overall quality. These tips can be applicable to a personal/academic portfolio, or even the AP Visual Arts Portfolio.

Colour is the basis of all painting. It creates a basis for all colour art and is a whole science in itself. In this lesson, we will look at some basic colour theory, painting our own colour wheels and considering how these might help us when painting or drawing. We will apply what we have learnt to look at some famous paintings and see how these favourite artists used the same colour theory as us today.

1 to 1 Art lessons. I aim to broaden the students knowledge of artistic techniques, introducing them to new styles and artists and resolving this through experimentation. I will always sketch out ideas during conversation to make the concepts more transparent. I will provide a digital booklet for them to fill out their intentions and I will add comments as to what I think could help their explorations, they will also be able to grade their outputs and compare this with my feedback. Self reflection and critique is always a great way of analysing one's artistic outputs.
