As an aspiring artist, it is expected that you want to learn more on the various techniques that artist use to create amazing works of art. This class is aimed to teach you skills needed for art such as anatomy practice, value and many others.

This course is an in-depth look into drawing. It is intended for students with some drawing experience as a way for them to build upon existing skills, but students of all levels are welcome. We will go over line, form, and structure, beginning with contour line drawings and eventually building up to the student creating their own pieces. We will discuss figurative and non-representational works, as well as how we can utilize different methods of drawing to convey different feelings and emotions.

I specialize in drawing and painting, but I recognize that drawing is the foundation of art. It is also about being attentive and observant. Anyone could draw and it starts with looking carefully. This class is for aspiring artists, or anyone who wants to learn how to draw. My goal is to keep students inspired.
