Flute Lessons For Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced StudentsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Flute Lessons For Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced StudentsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

This class is for students of any age who wish to learn the transverse flute. Learning an instrument takes time and commitment, but it's hugely rewarding - and it doesn't have to be boring! I have experience teaching students of all age and levels and I specialise in tailoring my teaching to meet the individual needs of each student. Beginner flute lessons are suitable for students learning from scratch or those already playing up to about ABRSM Grade 2 level. In beginner flute lessons, you will learn the fundamentals of making a sound and play your first notes, as well as the basics of reading music. As lessons progress, you will learn your first short pieces and maybe even prepare for graded exams. Intermediate lessons are suitable for students already playing at about ABRSM Grade 3 to Grade 5 levels. In these lessons, you will build on what you already know to expand your abilities on the flute. You will learn more about different musical styles and techniques and develop more confidence to express yourself through music. Advanced lessons are for students already playing at about ABRSM Grade 6 and beyond. Depending on each student, lessons could involve growing more skills to take the advanced grade or diploma exams exams through to learning the skills to put together a recital programme or prepare for a music college audition. There is wide scope in these lessons to focus on your areas of interest, while still keeping an eye on the solid foundations of good flute technique and musicianship.

"From Zero to Advanced" - Online Classical, Jazz and Bossa-nova Flute Lessons with Brazilian/British Bacharel and Enthusiastic TeacherTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello Flutist!! How are you doing during these pandemic times? Hope you are well and safe!! I am Marcio. Welcome to my Apprentus profile! First of all, I am a specialized and fully dedicated Online Teacher. I have been teaching online since the very beginning of the covid pandemic. Since then, I have developed a lot of my way of working. All my lessons are run on Skype which works amazingly well for both video and audio. Also, to enrich the quality of the audio from my students, I very often use a pair of professional headphones which give me amazing high definition sound and articulation of the student. I also work on my iPad with the Apple Pencil and using the share screen resource I can demonstrate and draw on music sheets and methods that I am working with the student at that moment. I simply love it and most of the time it really feels much better than a lesson in person due to all these technological possibilities. My students and I have a lot of fun, you can count on that! I also have a number of Pricing Plans for weekly lessons that will lower the cost of the lesson considerably! My METHODOLOGY I use a methodology that I have developed over the years of practicing and teaching both my students and myself. It’s called: PRIORITY FOCUS. PRIORITY FOCUS basically is a non-multi tasking way of learning a musical instrument allowing time and space for us to learn and fully conquer one ability at a time. We start at the very basic aspects of posture, fingering, and embouchure, and climb our way up to the most detailed techniques and musical expressions. One Flute-playing ability at the time. This methodology is constructed on what I consider to be the two main subjects in Music learning and playing, what I call THE PILLARS OF MUSIC: MUSICALITY AND INSTRUMENTAL TECHNIQUE Both intermix and coexist in a single dimension, but in terms of studying and progressing, I find that separating them is essential to accelerate and solidify my students’ learning and my own. MUSICALITY encompasses aspects such as musical phrases, vibrato, dynamics, tone colors, improvisations, music theory, harmony, and style: CLASSICAL, JAZZ, FUNK, POP, SAMBA, and BOSSA-NOVA, all of which I have KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE. In INSTRUMENTAL TECHNIQUE, in our case, FLUTE TECHNIQUE, we have elements such as posture, embouchure, fingerings, breathing, articulation, tonguing, and music reading. To work on these aspects with my students I use several distinctive Flute Methods, from the most TRADITIONAL to the most MODERN ones, as well as INNUMEORUS EXERCICES that I have specifically developed for Flute technical improvements from years of experience as a Flutist, Student, and Teacher. I also use many teachings from distinct areas such as Yoga for FOCUS and RELAXATION, Alexander technique for Posture and BALANCE, and Philosophical spiritual schools for MOTIVATION. Let’s also not forget the intense work that’s is done on the REPERTOIRE OF THE STUDENT’S TASTE. I provide all materials from my vast library completely TO MY STUDENTS. I confess that there is nothing in the world, besides being with my wife and daughter, that I love more than playing and teaching about Music and the Flute. I am an extremely PATIENT, ENTHUSIASTIC, DEDICATED, AND CARING TEACHER. MOTIVATION is the key and I GUARANTEE that you’ll leave motivated after each lesson.

I offer lessons of flute and recorder in three languages (French, English & Italian). If you are a big fun of art noveau buildings you can come to my house in Schaerbeek. Or if you leave too far, I can come to your place. My name is Matteo and I am an Italian flutist and musicologist, based in Brussels since 2010. I graduated in modern flute at 'B. Marcello' Conservatory in Venice and at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels with Barthold Kuijken and Frank Theuns in the Baroque flute. I hold a master degree in Philosophy and Musicology as well. I hold a PhD degree in music performance at Cardiff University, School of Music. From 2013 till 2015, I have been teaching at the Venice Conservatory "B. Marcello", giving yearly lectures and seminaries on the historical repertoire for the flute. Since 2021, I have been appointed music curator of Coudenberg Sound Box Fest, a music festival which aims at celebrating the Belgian music heritage and takes place every year at the beautiful archeological site of the former Royal Palace of Brussels. I recorded for Warner Classics & Erato, and a soloist for Arcana/Outhere Music ('La solitude à deux. Solos and duets by G. P. Telemann' in 2018 and 'Affect is no Crime. New music for old instruments' in 2019). I regularly play with leading ensembles and orchestras such as Millennium Orchestra (Leonardo Garcia Alarcon), Vox Luminis (Lionel Meunier), Les Muffatti (Peter van Heyghen), Coro & Orchestra Ghislieri (Giulio Prandi), Le Concert d'Anvers (Bart van Reyn), B.O.X. Flute, piccolo, and traverso lessons for all ages and levels! 🎵🇫🇷🇪🇸🇬🇧Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hello! My name is Cristóbal, a Spanish flautist passionate about music and teaching it. I offer flute, piccolo and traverso lessons for all levels. I particularly enjoy guiding each student on their musical journey, adapting to their needs and goals. I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages (from 5 to 68) and all levels, from beginners to those preparing for conservatory entrance exams. I have taught in music schools as well as privately in Spain, France, and Switzerland. This diversity of experience allows me to easily adapt to each student and to offer personalized support, according to their objectives, level and learning pace. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Zaragoza, Spain, I continued my studies at the Strasbourg Conservatory in Raquel Magalhães' class, where I was awarded a distinction. I then obtained a Master's degree in Performance from the Geneva University of Music in Jacques Zoon's class. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in traverso with Johanna Bartz, as well as a Master's degree in piccolo at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Peter Verhoyen. This dual specialization allows me to approach the flute family in its stylistic richness, from the modern repertoire to the baroque.

I might not know much about flute, but what I know is that if you want to learn it, Anna's your gal. She's fun, smart, punctual and really professional and, to top it off, a really good teacher. She is going to make you feel appraised for your smallest accomplishments (which will definitely help you evolve much faster than using any conventional book/online course etc.) and will find the sweet spot between theoretical concepts and fun, practical songs to keep you entertained. I myself had an internal kerfuffle and nearly quit after 2 weeks of trying to learn flute. But flute can be fun and entertaining, and Anna's teaching method is the proof to that lemma!

I just had my first-ever flute lesson with Paco, and it was an amazing experience. He is incredibly kind, patient, and a truly wonderful person. Paco is clearly a master of his craft—his deep knowledge and passion for music shine through in his teaching. I felt comfortable and inspired throughout the entire lesson, and I’m already looking forward to my next one. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn or grow as a flutist!

Ayumi-san has a very energetic presence and a wonderful connection with my daughter. Even though we have had only one lesson so far, the way she adapted the lesson ,without making it too difficult, encouraged my daughter even more instead of discouraging her. This truly motivated her to play with greater enthusiasm. Thank you, Ayumi-san. I strongly feel that we will achieve very good results together in a short time.
