Graduated in France for a classical training, I offer courses of flutes (from piccolo to octobasse via bass and viola!). The content of the courses will be adapted to the needs of each one. I practice improvisation for quite a few years, the Brazilian music (choro) is one of my specialties. I also play in the French Flutes Orchestra, and I share with pleasure my practices and sound research such as multiphonic, flute and voice, circular breathing, whistle tones and other flatterzung! Music theory will be taught naturally if necessary. I can give lessons in French, Portuguese (Brazil), English.

Hello! My name is Cristóbal, a Spanish flautist passionate about music and teaching it. I offer flute, piccolo and traverso lessons for all levels. I particularly enjoy guiding each student on their musical journey, adapting to their needs and goals. I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages (from 5 to 68) and all levels, from beginners to those preparing for conservatory entrance exams. I have taught in music schools as well as privately in Spain, France, and Switzerland. This diversity of experience allows me to easily adapt to each student and to offer personalized support, according to their objectives, level and learning pace. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Zaragoza, Spain, I continued my studies at the Strasbourg Conservatory in Raquel Magalhães' class, where I was awarded a distinction. I then obtained a Master's degree in Performance from the Geneva University of Music in Jacques Zoon's class. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in traverso with Johanna Bartz, as well as a Master's degree in piccolo at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Peter Verhoyen. This dual specialization allows me to approach the flute family in its stylistic richness, from the modern repertoire to the baroque.

Over time, I've developed a pleasant and effective method. I also teach the Alexander Technique, a very effective tool for learning to play with minimal effort. In addition to my passion for the flute, I am also an accomplished composer with a portfolio of commissioned works premiering at renowned venues and exhibitions worldwide. Notable highlights include composing for Wessel Flutes, Berlin Fashion Week, Nxt Museum (Amsterdam), and Adidas Y-3. My work as a composer heavily influences my approach to teaching. Jordi teaches flute at beginner and conservatory levels. His teaching is flexible and is based on Jordi's own experience in creating music, and has a prepared teaching program for all levels, but input from students is always welcome. I am a classical musician with over 15 years of professional experience, both in Portugal and abroad. My main instrument is the Transverse Flute, but I also teach: the Piccolo, the Traverso and the Recorder.
