Since my development as a singer relies on uncovering the voice as a therapeutic and storytelling tool through various musical traditions I explore, my pedagogical practice is student-oriented and tailored according to your wishes and interests. Versed in various styles and genres such as pop, soul, neo-soul, jazz, and traditional music (mostly oriented towards Slavic vocal traditions), I aim to guide you towards your goals by balancing technical and breathing exercises with bringing gentle awareness and harness your creativity and authenticity. My teaching practice is rooted in more than 8 years of pedagogical experience in working with various ages (7-60), individuals, and groups, in multicultural environments. I base my approach on the principles of The Whole Singer practice, Waldorf Artistic Therapy, and more than 15 years of artistic and performance experience in various bands and ensembles.

Singing in all it's discipline's is one of the most powerful forms of self expression. whether you are beginning on your Journey into singing and music, or you are further along the road and would like some extra guidance, support or knowledge, these are all things I can help you with. Each persons sessions will be tailored to the student, going on your ability and what you would like as an outcome of your lessons. some subjects we will go Through are topics such as: warm ups to protect the voice, Voice Technique, Performance - developing your own personal style of singing and as a performer through learning songs of your choice. Additionally to these topics, we can do subjects based around music theory, Learning to read music and Music History. the main thing of course, is to have fun learning and performing! Alternatively, If you are already Studying Music and/or Singing and want help with revision or Practice, I am Happy to accommodate for this also. I have my Grade 8 in Singing, as well as having been trained in Music at degree level in multiple genres of vocal performance and additionally with 25 years of experience in performing arts. I am more than happy to accommodate multiple Genres, and again, all learning is at the students pace. I am available to teach from Saturday 29th March 2025.
