VOCAL lessons are divided into 2 parts -

1) Warmup Exercise and 2) Singing Exercise.

We do both parts in every lessons. Ideally we spend every 2-3 sessions for each song.

For kids, a 30-min online lesson / 45-min face-to-face lesson would be long enough for their attention.

For adults, it's good to start with a 50-min online lesson!

Also, we do music appreciation occasionally during the session. Some other learning materials like music videos are applied based on song choices.

Extra information

Better have a microphone for better sound quality, in a way to understand more of your singing voice :)

About Me

Penelope started her music career as a demo singer and a backing chorus member.

Back in 2013, she worked as a backing vocalist in pop concerts for Albert Au and Louis Yuen, among other singers. She also started her teaching job in Hong Kong where she met her first group of students. They have been taking lessons with Penelope for 10+ years.

Penelope was awarded a Summer Musical Camp Scholarship by Goldsmiths, University of London for a short-term musical theatre training in 2017.

She is also an active vocalist at different live houses and jazz bars in recent years.

I am Maria, and I will happily help you achieve your musical goals, from zero to the top.
I love all student levels, but only towards the CLASSICAL piano, of any eras' works and composers.

I am a very proud piano teacher, as on Jan 11 2026 four young students of mine were awarded by the renown American Competition "The Royal Foundation" and were invited and performed at a Gala at the Carnegie Hall in New York City! Also, these kids were invited to participate to the Juilliard School festival, with masterclass and lessons, a fabulous chance and experience that I wish all young pianists could have!

On Sept 1st 2024 three awarded students of mine were invited to perform at The DiMenna Classical Centre of Music in Manhattan, from another American competition, the International Youth Music Competition.

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.

Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing.
