About Me
Barbara was born in Buenos Aires and has been involved in music since childhood. She studied self-taught and with renowned and beloved teachers of music, singing, composition, and theater, participating in various musical groups, choirs, and plays. She began exploring tango, which moved her from an early age, singing in a trio format (a guitar and vocal duo). She learned the intricacies of Latin American folklore alongside Facundo Farías Gomez, with whom she shared a unique lineup of bass drums, Afro-Latin percussion, and vocals (Inti Hua). She delved into jazz, singing in a variety of formats. In 2013, she released her first solo project, MORA. In 2019, she released her debut studio album, GEMA, as a composer, producer, and singer, co-produced with Alan Platcha, Ernesto Romeo, and La Siesta del Fauno as part of the Buenos Aires City Cultural Patronage program. He is currently working on a new project, composing, teaching, and performing in Argentina.
