Hi to everybody! :) My name is Stef, I am a lyrical singer from Barcelona who currently lives in Montréal (and I love it!). I teach singing, piano and musical theory for ALL AGES and GENRES! About SINGING, I am going to teach you how to use your voice in a healthy way. In class, we'll learn about: - Body awareness - Support (yes, we'll talk about the diaphragm!) - Breathing - Phonation - Tuning - Phrasing - Declamation - Projection - Confidence - Stage presence - Communication through emotions - Piano self-accompaniment (so you can give proper concerts to your beloved ones!) - And MORE!! If you feel interested about the vocal world and you want to begin or improve and expand your knowledge, drop me a line. Tell me which repertoire you want to work with and let's sing it! About PIANO and MUSICAL THEORY lessons, they are based on a super piano book. With that and my technique you'll learn a lot! For kids, I have several books that are fantastic for them as well! Also, I'm here to help you with your EXAMS and AUDITIONS :) My philosophy is QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. To achieve that, it's important to establish a trust-based relationship between us. My lessons are taken in a comfortable and open-minded environment. I find this point essential to feel free and make music from the heart. So, what are you waiting for? Don't hesitate to contact me to book your first lesson! It will be a big pleasure to work with you :) Remember: FUN is mandatory! :D

Graduated with a Diploma of Professional and Advanced Studies and a Master's degree in piano performance at the University of Montreal, I also obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies with A+ mention from the Jacques Thibaud Conservatory of Bordeaux in France. I have been working as a piano teacher for eight years now. I teach piano and music theory to all types of profiles, children, adolescents or adults ranging from a beginner to a professional level. During my musical journey, I tried to nourish my knowledge in the service of instrumental practice and pedagogy. During my lessons, we will cover subjects that are essential for me such as good position at the piano, flexibility of playing, stress management, bodily relaxation and of course, interpretation. My pedagogy is based heavily on this last point so that the student can stand out musically and find their own language while respecting a fair interpretation. I work every day to find a fun side to instrumental practice for the youngest while instilling in them the theoretical and technical bases they will need to develop their playing.

Good morning all! Currently doing a PhD in classical singing interpretation at the University of Montreal, I would be delighted to pass on my passion to all those who wish to discover or deepen the vocal technique. For those who wish, I can introduce them to the baroque repertoire with the possibility of being accompanied on the harpsichord occasionally. My approach is relaxed, fun and personalized. I also offer sessions for people who just want to gain more comfort and confidence with their spoken voice.

Good morning all! I am a student at Polytechnique Montréal (20 years old) and I love music, especially the guitar. Are you a guitar beginner? It is not serious! I'll teach you to read tabs, chords etc... If you're motivated to learn to 'scratch' as we say in the jargon, well, you just had to say it! Even if you don't have a guitar, I can bring mine and you can get an idea of your interest in the instrument! I can also help you improve your singing if you want to sing+play guitar. Thank you and long live rock'n'roll! Ps: I have already given private lessons. English is fine too!

My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. Children (7–12 years old) For younger students, lessons focus on building confidence while making learning fun. We begin with simple vocal warm-ups and ear training to develop pitch and intonation, then move on to singing their favourite songs, encouraging good vocal habits in an enjoyable way. Teenagers (12-17 years old) With teenage students, we start with more structured vocal warm-ups and exercises. As we discover their natural voice, we work on developing a comfortable vocal range, improving technique, and applying these skills through songs that suit their voice and interests. Adults and seniors (18+) For adult students, lessons are usually divided into two parts. We begin with vocal technique, focusing on breathing, diaphragm support, scales, arpeggios, and intonation. We then apply these techniques through singing, helping you develop confidence, control, and healthy vocal habits. I will give you repertoire to study or we will study the pieces you have to prepare. The final goal will be to sing on a musical accompaniment. Every student learns at a different pace. Some may spend more time building a solid technical foundation before moving on to more challenging repertoire, and that’s perfectly fine. My priority is to ensure that every student feels comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their vocal journey. I teach children, teenagers, and adults and seniors from complete beginners to advanced singers. My classical training provides a strong technical foundation that can be applied to any musical style, whether you enjoy pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, or classical singing. Whatever your age or experience, I’d love to help you discover and develop your voice. Let’s sing!
