About Me
Grusha is an advanced Yoga teacher from India. She successfully completed her YTTC 200 and YTTC 300 from Kailash Tribal School of Yoga and was accredited by the International Yoga Alliance.

Her first introduction to the power of yoga was right after her graduation when she was backpacking around her country India, to understand more closely about its culture and lives.

She practiced Naad yoga under Ustad F. Wasifuddin Dagar in Guwahati during the Spic Macay International Convention. She also learned Manipuri dance under Late Guru Wangkhem lokendrajit.

She eventually started her Yoga teacher training under Yogi Sivdas of the Kailash Tribal School of Yoga under a scholarship provided by Yogi Sivdas as an initiative to teach yoga without fees to a few students who would spread yoga and the legacy of his teaching.

Grusha has been teaching yoga all across India and virtually to International clients. She has been conducting group training, and private sessions since 2017.

Yoga for Grusha is not a mere physical exercise but a holistic approach towards holistic living. Her sessions are designed to work on the mind, body and breath.

Grusha specialises in Hatha Yoga, Yogic philosophy, ayurveda, meditation and combines these through her teachings.

RYT-200 Yoga Instructor; Pre-Natal & Post-Natal Yoga; Reiki Practitioner
Peaceful Mind, Active Life; Positive Energy, Powerful Synergy

Like a lot of people, I used to work 9-6 in an office in the luxury retail industry. Day in day out in the busy city of Hong Kong, same routine over and over again. Stress was not getting any less and burden was not getting any lighter. I started questioning myself -

What was I fighting for?
What are the goals in life?
Some might have already figured it out, some are still trying to find out, but for sure everyone is different.

I started practicing yoga since 2012. When I first started, it was certainly not my favourite. I was always very impatient, fast-paced, easily stressed and agitated; so yoga for me was too calm, too slow and too still. For the very same reason, I decided to continue and overcome these weaknesses of mine and find balance in myself.

Throughout these years of practice, initially I was very focused on the body postures, always wanted to achieve the crazy and advanced-looking poses; and gradually later on, I was being more aware of the importance of state of mind and peacefulness, because yoga is about unity of mind and body.

I became certified as a RYT-200 Yoga Instructor in 2016. Yoga stresses on both physical and mental wellness: It is a balance of yin and yang - strength and flexibility; as well as focus of breaths and control of mind.

I have tapped into the world of yoga, and I have been lucky to learn from wise and inspiring individuals. Having the chance to share those lessons and experiences with people around fills me with joy. Everyone could use more yoga in their lives, so I hope to see you on the mat soon.

Namaste.
