Have you always wanted to play that G major Prelude? Let's make it happen! Do you need a little extra help practising your repertoire or an extra set of ears? Hi, here to help:) It's good to acknowledge that learning to play an instrument is a complex activity requiring individual approach and timeline. If you're just starting out, we will go in your own pace and cover all the basics of sitting posture, bow hold and left hand, as much as basics of music theory and forms. If you're an advanced player, I'm happy to offer my musical input, knowledge of repertoire and practise tips. Or just lend an ear to help uncover some of the habits we tend to accumulate and not notice on our own after a while!

Hello, I'm a professional violinist originally from Slovakia who moved to Berlin. I teach violin as a private teacher since 2005. I love working with people, both children, and adults and I always want to give them as much as I can from my knowledge. Very important for me as a teacher is to teach music in the whole spectrum. In my lessons, you can learn everything you need to improve your musical skills from technique to understanding the music. If you prefer some specific style, you can choose if it's classical violin and you would like to work on a repertoire, technique, bow technique, vibrato, phrasing or you would like to learn how to play jazz, blues, improvisation, chopping on violin, rock style or just to learn the songs of your choice. A graduate of the CEM and DEM in violin and music theory, I offer violin and music theory lessons. I have been teaching violin for three years to beginner and intermediate children who progress very quickly. For beginners, I offer an introduction to the instrument, then gradually integrate music theory alongside the lessons. I emphasize bow and left-hand positioning so that the student can progress with relaxation. I also work on breathing, a very important concept in music. I am patient, friendly, and attentive to the student's needs to help them progress despite any difficulties. I also played piano for six years. Every year, I attend two-week violin workshops during which I teach violin to young children.
