About Me

I am a very experienced and enthusiastic teacher. I am renowned for providing very clear instruction delivered in a fun personable manner. Learning an instrument should be a pleasurable and rewarding experience, and I try to ensure this is always the case for my students. If you are willing to engage and work hard, my track record show that you will achieve exceptional results. As a physiotherapist I have insights into the demands playing a musical instrument make on our bodies. Combining this with my knowledge and experience of the professional music industry I can provide a far more holistic approach to music lessons.

Owner of Music Professionals since 2000.I am a music professional and highly experienced, expert tutor of violin,voice, piano,keyboard, music theory.
I began teaching at the age of 16.
My students do very well in exams,auditions,concerts. I work with all age groups and levels from beginner to advanced.l am passionate about helping my students succeed.

I am a qualified professional pianist with many years of experience in teaching and live performance. I studied Classical Music and I graduated in Piano at the Conservatory of Perugia, Italy (10 year course, Vote: 9.75/10).
I also studied jazz and over the years I have played in jazz big bands, jazz ensembles such as trios, quartets and quintets. I also play the keyboards in many bands playing different styles and genres: funk, soul, blues and pop. This variety of knowledge makes me a very versatile teacher who can easily adapt to the students’ preferences and interests.
In the teaching field I have many years of experience with both children and adults. Up until now, I have taught in three different schools, giving one to one and group lessons, coordinating bands, running workshops and organising end of term concerts, which bring together learners of different ages, who play different instruments, at different levels.
In the piano course, students start to play at the first lesson with both hands, reading music and beginning to understand music theory. During the course we approach different music styles with a lot of space for chords, jazz improvisation and playing modern songs.
I pride myself of really motivating my learners by showing them concrete results from day one. From the first lesson my student will be able to play a melody and with my accompaniment they will get the feeling of having played a complete piece of music. This excitement will be their drive in the learning process and the necessary push to play solo on stage and in bands.

Bass guitar lessons:

I’ve been playing bass for 50 years, I studied at Bass Tech under the watchful eyes of the amazing Rob Burns/Paul Scott and Terry Gregory. I studied at the ICMP and I’ve written numerous top 10 songs and reached number 1 in 2017 in the official UK Soul chart and worked with some amazing musicians. I’ve been a successful bass guitar teacher for over 25 years; I’ve taught hundreds of students both privately and in classrooms. Bass is not only a passion of mine, but it’s also my life and I would love to help you on your musical journey and depending on what you want to achieve together we can structure the right course for you.
I do believe in any business hard work, dedication and time are what’s required to achieve your personal goals. It’s fun and very rewarding when you succeed and have honed your skills to a point where you get to meet like-minded individuals and groups.
