Piano lessons for all ages (from beginner to professional), classical music , music theory , performance and improvisation and composition.

Piano lessons for all ages (from beginner to professional), classical music , music theory , performance and improvisation and composition.

I find real happiness and pleasure in teaching piano and teaching music generally, I love working with students who are already quite mature in this field, and I especially love working with adults but since through my experiences I have had the opportunity to work with all ages of students I can very effectively design a curriculum for each age. The more I work with students and children, and the more knowledge and experience I give them, the more I become better and more successful in all areas of my life. Our communication and energy is valuable and we are moving forward with as much communication as possible that we cherish. Basically the most important thing in my music teaching is to teach students to love music, and in the easiest way - through play and fun - to learn knowledge and gain experience, and become successful. I am currently attending Berklee College of Music in the Contemporary Performance program. I will finish this program in June this year, and through my many years of experience in the field of contemporary music, I believe that I can do this job very well with you. I am currently working on releasing my three albums in parallel. One album is related to instrumental music, mostly piano, where I had engagements in the field of film music. The second album is with my jazz quartet where we combine Middle Eastern tunes with forms of modern jazz. The third album is my original songs in the trap genre with electronically placed arrangement and beats. In my past, I have won significant awards at world piano competitions in the world of classical music, mostly modern classical music. With my projects, I have given over 3000 piano recitals and performances of an extended nature. Lately, due to the situation with the virus, I am more focused on composing and producing music, so you can always see my work on my YouTube channel. As you can see in my CV I have ten years of experience in teaching piano lessons in many primary and secondary music schools as well as in one academy as an assistant in the main piano department. Since Berklee College teaches us very professionally how to transfer our knowledge and experience to our future students, I would be very happy to accept the job I found in the description of this. I am a master pianist from the Novi Sad Academy of Arts (Serbia) where I worked as a teaching assistant. I also studied in Austria at the "Universität Mozarteum" (Salzburg) and I did specialization in China (Chengdu). My students would gain knowledge from the most renowned piano teachers and schools on the planet. They would be able to perform virtuosic piano music, but not only of classical music, also of other genres (jazz, blues, wolrd music). They will be able to improvise and become open minded professional performers. I guarantee the most creative teaching methods that certainly give excellent progress.

Online Drum / Percussion lessons taught in relaxed environment by pro musician.

Online Drum / Percussion lessons taught in relaxed environment by pro musician.

Drum teacher: Jazz, Latin, Funk, Rock, Orchestral *Teaching Skype lessons at a reduced rate!* *Lots of availability anytime as of April 2020!* *Teaching peripatetic drums and percussion in two schools in Knightsbridge and Hackney* I have a 2:1 Bmus in Performance & Production from LCCM. The skills I have learned from my degree are as follows: -I am a competent reader, able to sight-read music for musical theatre, jazz, and Latin arrangements -I have an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of styles: Jazz, Latin, Funk, Orchestral, Rock, German oompah music! -I gig regularly, in all of the styles above, I am often called at short notice to dep gigs when the main drummer can't make it. -My ears have improved greatly by going to jazz jams, attending lots of gigs, seeing how the pros do it! -My university was more like an academy, meaning it was 95% practical, in my final year I was in every day 9 am-9 pm, rehearsing or doing individual practice, the improvement in my playing would not have been equaled had I done a more academic degree. -My ability to work in a team and just communicate with other people has greatly improved. In my final year, I was asked by a lot of my peers to play for their recitals, I was overwhelmed with work but managed to pull through, and as a result, I have created a good reputation for myself and a long list of musical contacts, something very valuable. -I have grade 5 music theory, putting it to practical use by writing music for string quartet, jazz combos, and salsa bands. I have also created backing tracks for my own original music. -Using electronic sounds within a normal acoustic set-up is something I do regularly now. I often have a metronome in my ears on live gigs and have to play specific electronic sounds in time through a Roland SPD-SX, this gives me the ability to replicate specific sounds from studio versions of tracks. I come from a family where music is extremely important. At school, my first band was a rock covers band where my brother played bass. We played regularly in pubs in Dorset, (you may have heard of the Teddy Rocks festival, we played in the very first festival and have played with my band Last Resort ever since). My first teacher was keen for me to learn how to read music, meaning I could play in school orchestras for musicals. I have 2 Grade 8 distinctions, one from Rockschool and one from Trinity Guildhall, I did the Rockschool one first and then thought it best to add the Trinity one! The rock band I was in still plays, we have an EP online and continue to write original music. Having just finished uni, I am keen to start my musical career ASAP, I want to stay in London because it has the best music scene in Europe!! My teaching has reading and listening to its heart. The best thing I have done since coming to London is open my ears to all the styles I didn't like, listen over and over, until they started to grow on me! Music is a cultural and historical lesson as well, it's interesting to see where the popular styles of today came from! Reading will just make you more employable as all the sessions, musical theatre and holiday camp drummers will tell you! I use software such as Noteflight which allows me to playback scores, making sight-reading an easier and more enjoyable process, and meaning I can share scores with students via email. Each student is also given a video recording of what we studied in the lesson, which is a very valuable resource, something they can take away from each lesson, and makes remembering what we learned much easier! I look forward to answering any queries you may have and hope to teach you very soon!

Music Theory for beginners. Experienced teacher and trained musician offering online ABRSM Music Theory lessons.

Music Theory for beginners. Experienced teacher and trained musician offering online ABRSM Music Theory lessons.

I specialise in teaching people who have little or no music theory knowledge. Trying to learn to read music can often feel like a daunting or time consuming uphill struggle. I break everything down into simple to understand manageable memorable chunks and take your own learning style into account. I follow and adapt the industry leading ABRSM Grade courses which I have extensive experience in. I have taken these exams myself, run exam course centres and taught the syllabus for many years. I teach via an platform which allows both student and teacher to notate live on the same document. The pace is set to meet the needs of the student who is encouraged to give regular feedback on how they think classes are going. As a music scholar at King's School Gloucester I served as a chorister at Gloucester Cathedral from 1996-2003 where I also learned the piano and the cello. I continue to use my music skills as a professional actor both on film, for example as cello player Charles Morel in On Chesil Beach, and in the theatre. At this time I am only able to offer online classes due to government advice since the outbreak of COVID-19. I'm therefore only offering music theory classes at present. I believe online session will be a productive way of exploring music theory.
