Hello :) I am an ESL instructor with a BA in American Culture&literature and Teaching English and conducting one-to-one lessons. Currently, I am studying for a master's degree in Applied Linguistics and Tesol, U.K.My specializations are Business English and exam preparations for Toefl, IELTS, Toeic, Cambridge Advanced and Online Teaching. During my lessons, I utilize coursebooks targeted for these exams and provide additional resources for the students if needed. I grew up in-between Mexico and the Netherlands and completed a bilingual education in English and Spanish. I passed my GCSE examinations after Grade 10 and attained a final score of 42/45 points in the IB in 2021. After graduating from a United World College, I move to The Hague to study at Leiden University, where I obtained a BA in International Law (summa cum laude). I started tutoring at 14, but only began doing it regularly four years later at the IB level. My professional experience has also included college-level student assistantships. My approach to learning is influenced by my own diverse background. I have studied under different systems in the Mexico, the Netherlands and France, which allowed me to experiment with various learning methods and discover what works and what doesn't. When it comes to the IB, I especially understand how to structure written assignments (including IAs, TOK essay and the EE) and have several tips to achieve the highest results. I strongly believe that each student has a unique way of learning, and my objective is to discover what works best for you. Writing is an important skill, and I believe everyone can achieve their writing goals, no matter how big the challenge. I specialise in tutoring students with English writing skills and offer help with most writing tasks including writing CVs and resumes, cover letters, essays, dissertations and creative writing to name a few. I work as a 3D generalist for cinema and/or video games, with a specialization in 3D Layout/Préviz. During our courses, I will teach you the techniques to create your own illustrations/projects, and allow you to discover if not improve your skills in the world of 3D. As examples, we will learn how to use software such as Blender, 3dsMAx, Photoshop, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and many others. INTRODUCTION (scroll down for the course description — see below) I'm a young professional in the film industry and have worked with partners such as Vice, Sony, Unicef and WWF, as well as many musicians, architects, non-profit organizations and independent creators. My experience spans director, editor, DOP, assistant editor, focus puller, author, electrician and production assistant. I studied Cinema at LUCA School of Arts Brussels and Supermedia at UMPRUM in Prague. My strength lies mainly in combining music and cinematography: experimental video art, arthouse films, music videos, and dance and music films. I also completed training in team coordination, so I can edit efficiently and stay organised. I work both for large companies and the music industry, as well as on small, independent project, depending on whether the music speaks to me. I'll teach you how to edit videos and films, for personal or commercial use. My software of choice is the full Adobe suite; for sound I use Ableton, and to a lesser extent Pro Tools. I've completed several artistic residencies as part of my own practice and describe myself as a multidisciplinary artist. My work has appeared in several international magazines with around 700,000 monthly readers, and has received international attention.
