About Me

I'm a language professional with a great passion for English; a passion that I'd like to think is contagious.

My classes are plan-based and systematic, based on clear learning objectives. However, if it turns out you need something else along the way, I'm happy to adapt the plan to your needs.

I have been active as an English teacher since 2012. In addition to individual students, I also teach academic English skills at universities, in recent years mostly to Master and PhD students. I specialise in British pronunciation and academic writing.

I am a Turkish teacher. I graduated in Turkey with a BA in Languages. The classes I offer are from basic to academic level, so for children, students, expats and adults. That focus is on learning grammar, speaking,, reading and writing. If you want to learn Turkish for vacation, work, family or just as a hobby, I can certainly help you. I use Turkish grammar books, podcast, websites for learning Turkish and other study materials. and the rate is lower from 5 lessons.

Normally a student with a motivation to learn the language learns basic Turkish in 10 or 15 lessons. Both private and group lessons (The Hague) are available.

I grew up in-between Mexico and the Netherlands and completed a bilingual education in English and Spanish. I passed my GCSE examinations after Grade 10 and attained a final score of 42/45 points in the IB in 2021. After graduating from a United World College, I move to The Hague to study at Leiden University, where I obtained a BA in International Law (summa cum laude).

I started tutoring at 14, but only began doing it regularly four years later at the IB level. My professional experience has also included college-level student assistantships. My approach to learning is influenced by my own diverse background. I have studied under different systems in the Mexico, the Netherlands and France, which allowed me to experiment with various learning methods and discover what works and what doesn't. When it comes to the IB, I especially understand how to structure written assignments (including IAs, TOK essay and the EE) and have several tips to achieve the highest results.

My name is Mohamed from Syria, and I hold a degree in Business Administration. My journey with the English language began with a deep passion for learning it. My IB tutoring sessions provide a structured and student-led environment where learners are in charge of their own progress.
