She plays piano, violin and writes her own music. Over the past decade, she graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Netherlands with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in jazz singing and in pedagogical minor studies. She had a chance to participate in various music festivals as a singer, have concerts of her own, be behind the scenes in various TV shows, and win several vocal competitions, and she truly developed her ears and her knowledge that she is now also able to help others to find their own unique singing voice. Dhrupad is a sophisticated art form of Indian Classical music. At the core of this music lies the practice of Kharaj, which involves early morning vocal exercises. Passionate about the performing arts, I have worked in theatre, dance and music. I began my singing career with musical theatre and then opera. I teach alongside my stage activities because it is a joy to share the love of singing, a discipline that is rich physically, artistically and mentally. Every voice is unique, and it's important to adapt to each student's personality, desires, and background. I enjoy exploring and researching with my students to help them bring out and develop their voices to the fullest extent of their abilities. My courses are based on 3 main principles: - Vocal technique: developing a healthy and solid technique, giving confidence and freedom while singing. Breathing, muscle support, stretching and vocal range homogeneity, agility... - Musicality: ear training, sense of rhythm, phrasing, exploration of vocal nuances and colors - Interpretation: Text work, projection, repertoire discovery, song construction I divide the sessions into half an hour of technical exercises adapted to the level and needs, then another half hour devoted to learning a piece.
