Healthy singing technique and how to express yourself. When you start? Right now!!
From 116 C$ /h
My lessons focus on helping students develop a free, healthy, and expressive singing voice. Whether you are a beginner, an amateur singer, or an advanced student, I aim to help you sing with greater ease, confidence, and musical freedom.
A central part of my teaching is the relationship between posture, breathing, and vocal production. Many vocal difficulties—such as tension in the throat, limited breath capacity, or difficulty sustaining phrases—can often be improved through a better understanding of how the body supports the voice. Students learn to develop natural alignment, efficient breathing, and coordinated body awareness, creating a reliable foundation for singing.
Technical development, however, is never an end in itself. The ultimate goal is to use that freedom to communicate through music. By discovering a natural and authentic voice, students can explore richer tone colours, longer phrasing, and more meaningful musical expression.

About Me
For me, singing is closely connected to the experience of being alive. Breathing is something we do every moment of our lives, and singing is a natural extension of that breath.
I believe that discovering and expressing one's authentic voice is also a way of expressing one's true self. Through singing, we can communicate emotions, share stories, and experience the joy of being fully present in the moment.
Nothing makes me happier than helping students discover that freedom and joy in their own voices. Whether your goal is artistic growth, technical development, or simply a deeper connection with music, I hope to support you on that journey.

Education
I completed a Bachelor's degree in Classical Voice at Tokyo University of the Arts and a Master's degree in Early Music Vocal Studies at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague.
Experience / Qualifications
As a baritone, I have extensive experience in opera, oratorio, chamber music, and professional choir singing. My ensemble and chorus experience includes productions of Carmen and Die Zauberflöte, as well as performances of Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Die Schöpfung, Mendelssohn’s Paulus, and Verdi’s Requiem.
As a soloist, I have performed several roles and solo parts including Apollo in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo, Teomanzio in J. C. Bach’s Carattaco, Jesus in Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, the bass solo in Haydn’s Nelson Mass, and the bass solo in Dvořák’s Stabat Mater.
I regularly perform both as a soloist and as an ensemble singer, with particular experience in low male voice repertoire.
I enjoy helping singers develop healthy vocal technique, musical expression, and confidence in performance.
