How much mental strength is invested with love into the lessons! There is no doubt that the violin/viola is Edi’s passion, and not just a profession, and this is passed on to and inspires me. I am glad that I found him as a viola teacher. I admire Edi’s talent, ability to formulate educational material, the learning process itself and the ability to create a wonderfully warm atmosphere during the lessons and in his follow-up emails. Maria is a very good teacher. I am an intermediate level student, so I was looking for someone who can give me nuanced feedback. Maria is really good at doing this, and helps with the tone and style of playing by leveraging her knowledge of violin, but also history of music, and the different styles. She pays a lot of attention in promoting dynamism and color when playing, so you get to make music instead of mechanically going through the score. She is very friendly and easy to communicate. I recommend her.
