Lessons can be tailored according to the student's needs. My goal is to keep students engaged and allowing them to proceed at their own pace. More about me: Born in 1998, Virginia started learning violin at the age of 3, under the tutelage of under Ms Beedarn Chao and Ms Rosa Lam. In 2013, she attained DipABRSM in violin performance and Grade 8 piano one year later. In 2018, Virginia graduated from King’s College London with a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours), under the sponsorship of the “King’s Hong Kong Scholarships” At KCL, she studied violin with tutors from the Royal Academy of Music - Mr. Nicolas Dupont and Ms Georgia Hannant. She also studied composition with Professor Silvina Milstein, Robert Keeley and Dr. Edward Nesbit. Her works have been performed by UK professional musicians and ensembles such as Clare McCaldin and Lontano Ensemble. Since university, Virginia has been actively teaching primary to form 6 students at King’s St George’s Music Academy (London) and Sevenoaks School, one of the top 5 UK boarding schools. Aiming to branch out in the field of music, Virginia has took up various arts administration and marketing positions in leading ensembles such as the English Music Festival, London City Philharmonic and more since 2016.

Good news for you, bad news for your cat and your dog! I'll teach you to play professionally and progressively, because you really want to learn and not just scrape strings with a waxed stick, wouldn't that be better? I offer in-person lessons at your home in Castellón and the surrounding area, regardless of your absolute skill level. You'll soon go from annoying your neighbors to having them leaning out the window to listen to you. I'm demanding but fair. I'm going to correct you directly and without being condescending. I respect your time, mine, and above all, your investment, because I'd rather you leave here playing than keep your money without you having learned anything. And let me be clear, if that happens, one of us will end up feeling like crap in a flip-flop, and spoiler alert: it won't be me. What I can guarantee is that if your effort, dedication, and consistency are genuine, you will learn. Even if your neighbors keep swearing you're stepping on the cat's tail every time you practice. Oh, and since you'll most likely be having the class at home, a sugar-free Americano is always a good idea. It's the only secret that isn't in the method. I studied the violin for about 2 months with Fermin and I have grown much in my knowledge of not just how to play but how to think when playing. Fermin has also helped a lot with technical struggles allowing me to break through some of the challenges that were bothering me for a long time. He is a very patient teacher but he will not hesitate to stop you and correct you (as any good teacher would) if you are not playing correctly. I personally requested that he gives me honest feedback which really helped me play better tecnically and musically. I believe he will be open to adapting his strictness upon specific requests. The time difference (Fermin being in Spain and I being in the US) has not been easy but Fermin was very willing to bend his schedule and provided several time slots to accommodate my availability. To sum up, if you are looking for a teacher that is patient in character yet unrelenting toward the goal of fully tapping your potential both musically and tecnically, I would recommend you take a lesson with Fermin.

Estella is a very positive, always happy teacher. Even though my son has been having on-line lessons with her, we can always feel her positive attitude during the lessons. She is very patient, gives lots of important tips and feedback, which has been helping him to guide his learning, improving in every aspect of it. We can see how much she care about the whole learning experience. It’s been very useful to expend his time while at home doing the lessons. He has been practicing more and has been feeling more motivated since he started the lessons with her. We definitely recommend her as a Saxophone teacher!

Peyber is great as a violin tutor since he is very patient while teaching new techniques and gives practical tips on how to improve sounds and hand positions for the violin/bow. He takes additional work as his own responsibility and prepares extra material for the class in form of notes and music videos that help you learn and practice better. I totally recommend him for all your violin lessons and I look forward to more classes with him to improve my skills. Thanks a lot to Peyber !
