About Me

Hola! My name is María, I am from Madrid and I am 32 years old. My violin and I have been together for 28 years so my instrument can tell you many stories about me. People often wonder what it is that kept me practicing throughout the years. When I started traveling with youth orchestras and meeting people from all around the world, I discovered that music is a powerful connecting force. It has the ability to bridge our differences while at the same time allowing authentic self-expression. This feeling of being in the moment together is what keeps me coming back. My approach as your violin guide might be a little different than you would expect. I want to invite you on a journey of playfulness and free improvisation guided by moments of joy. I don’t believe in right or wrong when it comes to sound as I am convinced that everyone has their own unique sound. Curious to know more? Just give me a call. I would be happy to connect!

Do you want to make your dream of becoming a violinist come true?

We teach violin to people of all ages and levels.

Beginning violinists learn to develop their musical talents step by step, while advanced players hone their skills by taking on new challenges.

With us you will receive pleasant and varied violin lessons, always adapted to your personal wishes and possibilities.

Children aged 7 and older are introduced to the instrument in a playful way and learn to play their first pieces through simple songs and clapping games.

Students who are a little older are introduced to the secret language of music and learn the solfeggio they need for the pieces while doing so.

Adults are of course also welcome, with or without prior knowledge of solfège.

I speak fluently Hungarian, English, A2 level German, and started to learn Dutch too.
The lessons are built by personal wishes and developing their musical talents step by step.

Hi! I'm a violinist currently finishing a Master's in Music at Royal Conservatory in Ghent. I started playing violin at the age of 6, and studying with numerous professors made me realize how important an individualized pedagogical approach is for good development. My aim is to motivate students to be creative and enjoy playing music, helping them express their own ideas. A relaxed and natural technique is always one of my focuses, to avoid future injuries and to find ease while playing that will allow you to explore your musicality and feel free.

Hey,
My name is Jasper and besides guitar lessons I also give private lessons in solfège!

For me it is important that you can develop your music knowledge in a motivating private lesson where the focus is on your interests.

In these lessons we can go through all the principles of music theory, from learning to read your first notes to chord theory to scales and beyond.
The lessons are for students of all ages and all levels.

I myself studied at the conservatory in Rotterdam and in Ghent and have been active as a professional musician for several years. I have 10 years of experience as a private teacher.

Lessons take place in Gentbrugge near the Keizerpark.
We can determine the exact time of the lesson together. All very flexible.

Does this seem like something for you?
Don't hesitate to send me a message.

Hope to see you soon!
Jasper

Hello everybody!

My name is Judit Agulló, I am 25 years old and I have been a musician and lover of learning for 17 years.

From my beginnings with the violin until today I have always been in continuous search of new knowledge. It has been several of my teachers who have marked me as a violinist and that is why for the last 5 years I have been following the path of teaching, something I am passionate about.

I obtained my superior degree in violin performance in Spain 5 years ago and since then I have combined my work as a violin teacher with other studies such as the master's degree in musical research which I obtained 3 years ago and the current master's degree in performance which I am currently studying at the Conservatory of Ghent.

If you are interested in starting to study violin or if on the other hand you are professional or amateur and want to learn new techniques, study works and a different vision of the instrument do not hesitate to contact me, I will be happy to meet you.

See you soon!

Hello, my name is Silvia!
I am an Italian student of Violin, currently attending the Postgraduate Musical Performance Practice at KASK & Conservatorium in Gent.
I already have experience in teaching music and violin to children, teenagers and young adults. In those occasions, I discovered how much transmitting my love for music to other people - children, teenagers, adults, any age! - is one of my highest goals within my musical career.
I am aware that each student deserves a personal teaching approach, shaped on his/her own nature and attitude.
I will help students strengthen and consolidate their technical skills on the instrument, but we will also have a lot of fun in playing music!

My education:
- Postgraduate Musical Performance Practice course, at KASK & Conservatorium, HoGent. Ongoing (2022-2023).
- Master Degree of Music in Performing Arts - Violin, issued by KASK & Conservatorium, HoGent. 2020-2022.
- Diploma in Violin (10-year course, old academic system) at the Conservatory of Music “G.P. da Palestrina” in Cagliari, Italy. 2009-2020.

The lessons will be held in English or in Italian.

My name is María, I am 25 years old and I am a professional cellist who graduated in Spain two years ago. Now I am doing a Master in Classical Music at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent.

For so many years I have been teaching music in different forms and ages (in already private schools): To people who wanted to get started in the musical language or start playing an instrument, to people who wanted to learn a score. or develop their musical tools, to people who wanted to continue growing as a musician and training their listening and people who wanted to improve their musical theoretical knowledge.

If you are just starting out with cello or music, if you want some extra lessons, if you need to prepare and an audition or an exam, if you are doing high level studies, I can help you. I have been studying and playing the cello for many years in different places (orchestras, conservatories, recordings, musicals...) so I think I can give you some good advice in different areas.

I like to think (and I do in my lessons) that music is a universal language and that anyone can learn and understand it. Also that each person can make their own approach to this wonderful language.

If you are interested in taking a lesson, let me know!

Pop, rock, jazz or other styles. I myself am mainly active as a rock drummer. I have been drumming for eighteen years and play/have played in a drum band, a youth orchestra, a big band, a rock band, a folk band and in cover bands.

I have a secondary school teacher's diploma for the subjects English, biology and music. In this training I learned the necessary didactic principles to teach well.

The (viola da) gamba is a bowed string instrument that was popular from the mid-16th to the mid-18th century. Like the recorder, the instrument comes in a variety of sizes, from small instruments in the register of the violin to large double bass ones. The best known and most commonly used type is the bass viol. The bass viol can best be described as a cross between a cello and a guitar: the tuning and left hand technique are close to the guitar, but playing position and bowing are reminiscent of the cello. Film buffs know the instrument from the movie 'Tous les Matins du Monde' in which the gamba music of Ste. Colombe and Marin Marais is central. The instrument is also known through the passions of JS Bach, in which it plays a prominent role. But the instrument also has a rich and diverse repertoire, ranging from late renaissance to early classical and an increasing number of contemporary pieces.

I studied gamba at the royal conservatory in The Hague with Wieland Kuijken. In the meantime I have about 30 years of experience in giving gamba lessons to children, young people and adults, ranging from absolute beginners to advanced players. In addition to the technique and the interpretation of the music on the instrument, I also offer support in the field of music theory and the historical context of the music. In addition to private lessons, I also teach gamba at music academy 'De Poel' in Ghent, the Municipal Conservatory of Bruges and KASK & Conservatory of Ghent.

Bye everyone!

Would you like to learn to play the violin in a fun, playful and relaxing way, at the pace that suits you best? Young, old, beginner, advanced? Welcome! You can also learn solfège during our lessons.

I studied at the Ghent Conservatory and took several private lessons.
I also regularly perform with my duo and play in various orchestras.
