About Me

I would describe myself as open-minded, sensitive, empathetic, and with strong values. My motto in life is to be constant, patient, and have clear goals to continue progressing as a person, teacher, and artist.

My life as a violinist began at the Conservatorio Superior "Pablo Sarasate" in Pamplona (Spain) where I did my bachelor studies. Later, I moved to the Netherlands to study at the Prince Claus Conservatory for my second bachelor's and my master´s degree in violin. Currently, I am studying for my second master's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts (KUG) in Graz with Eszter Haffner.

My life as a musician has led me to perform in more than 15 countries and in important halls such as Musikverein in Vienna, Berliner Philharmonie in Berlin, Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Herkulessaal in Munich, Stockholm Concert Hall in Stockholm, Sejong Center for Performing Arts in Seoul, Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, and The Royal Opera House in Muscat, among others.

For many years, I have had a special interest in teaching as it is a great inspiration for me to continue to grow as a musician.

I graduated in bachelor's and master's of violin at different universities in Europe giving this experience that I carry with me.

Dear violin lovers! I'm a violin teacher for 10 years now, I have been teaching in Portugal and the Netherlands. My lessons can be given in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish.

Playing the violin is my passion, especially when I can pass on my knowledge and love for music to my students of all ages and levels.

I work as a team with you, finding the right method that fit your needs. What is important for me is to work on a good connection with the instrument and find the right basis for the start of your violin playing.
In my violin lessons, I would like also to share with you my musical knowledge, show you recordings of great violin players, prepare with you pieces that you always wanted to play and give you the tools so you can achieve your goals in music. I did my Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the teachers Maria Milstein and Eliot Lawson and completed my Masters in Performance degree with excellency as well in Amsterdam under the guidance of Liviu Prunaru and Mathieu van Bellen while studying baroque violin with Shunske Sato.

I have my own violin class in Amsterdam, and I love teaching.

I wasn’t born with a gift.
At five years old, I picked up an accordion that was almost bigger than me. I didn’t know it then, but that single moment would shape the rest of my life.

Since that day, I’ve dedicated over two decades to mastering this beautiful, misunderstood instrument. Professor with a Higher Diploma in Piano from the Liceu Conservatory of Music in Barcelona and specializing in Spanish music from the Frank Marshall Academy (founded by Enrique Granados).

My curriculum is comprehensive and progressive. My teaching method focuses primarily on good sight-reading, combined with refined piano technique.

I also address learning difficulties such as postural problems, tension, and faulty touch.

My piano technique is based on the Enrique Granados school and his specific touch-based method, emphasizing sound and proper pedal use.

We will work on three basic sections: technique exercises, studies, and works from all styles (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, etc.).

We will also cover music theory (theory + daily exercises from the ABSRM method), solfège, choral singing, written ear training, score analysis, and concert listening exercises.

In addition to my in-person lessons, my online classes feature high-quality audio and video specifically designed for musicians: via the Zoom video call app (with settings that typically offer better sound for piano), and using OBS production software so you can clearly see the keyboard and hands from different angles.
Sound is captured with Behringer stereo microphones (piano) and a separate microphone for vocals, and multiple screens are used to combine sheet music, explanation, and real-time demonstration.

The goal is to make the online lesson as close as possible to an in-person class.
