The transverse flute is an elegant and expressive instrument that can play a variety of melodies, from classical to contemporary. This course is designed for all levels, whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player, and whether you want to learn or perfect your technique. You will learn to master breathing and posture, develop your fingering and your reading of scores, play melodies adapted to your level, improve your accuracy, your musicality and your expression, and gradually become independent in your practice, while progressing at your own pace.

I've been working as a professional musician for over 20 years. My specialties include free improvisation and jazz but I've performed in everything ranging from symphony orchestra's to DJs at venues including the Lincoln Center in NYC, North Sea Jazz Festival and the London Jazz Festival to name just a few. I've also taught at international schools and have successfully helped students progress through the Trinity music system. I have a studio in my house so lessons are possible here or at your place.
