I’m professional orchestra violinist working at Estonia. I’ve got now interested to teach violin so I can share the happiness of music!

I’m very willing to teach no experience. I can speak English, little bit of German and Japanese. Estonian at progress(A1 levels)

About Me

I like teaching small kids, and I’m used to it since I have small brothers.

I’ll try not only to give practical, technical lessons, but also fun. So we can enjoy the art of playing music!

Education

Nina finished her Bachelor degree at University of Art of Bern with Prf. Monika Urbaniak. She’s had private lessons with Prf. Kaija Saarikettu Sibelius Academy and two years working with Mr. Dennis Kim, Current Concert master at Buffalos symphony Orchestra. In last few years, she has been studying with Prf. Arvo Leibur (head of string department at Tallinn music Academy).

In 2005, she won the 1st prize at National Competition “Paulo Bossio” at age of 15. Nina participated at project ‘World of Japanese Picture Books’ in 2012, at Tanzania, and performed with composer, Motoki Hirai. She won the 2014 Mozart Competition in Music Festival Aigues Vives and was chosen as the “most ambitious participant” in festival.

She won the 2nd prize at Danube music competition in 2017.

I have a soloist diploma in violin performance and many years of experience in teaching all levels. I have played in many different professional orchestras in Estonia and abroad.
Recently I moved back to Estonia and would love to continue my teaching here as well. It has brought a lot of joy and excitement for my students to learn the violin and for me as well, teaching is one of the things that I really love to do.
I focus on building up a strong technique, a warm singing sound and personal expression in music.
I have been teaching in Estonian and in English, both fluent.

Hello to all aspiring musicians! I have been teaching violin for over 10 years and have masters in violin pedagogy. Love to share my love for music and violin, no matter how old you are! We can have lessons either at my home in Tallinn or via video call. I’m comfortable in teaching either Estonian or English, my German is rusty but could try to get that one going aswell!
