I am a professional violinist and teacher.
I have a masters degree in violin pedagogy from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.
In the recent years I have also studied in Trossingen and Bremen (Germany)
I have been teaching for 10+ years, in different Estonian music schools and also in Germany.

I teach mainly online these days but I also have some availabilities live in Tallinn and Tartu.

We take the basic rules, we deal with theory and musical instruments, and practice the student's favorite songs. I always talk to the student to find out what his favorite directions are in music. In this way, we can identify the stories and styles we deal with together.

I’m very willing to teach no experience. I can speak English, little bit of German and Japanese. Estonian at progress(A1 levels)

I offer private piano lessons for students of different age and levels. Depending on the student's final goal we adjust the repertoire and skills that are needed for obtaining the goal.

My goal as a teacher is to keep and increase the students' love for music as well as offer necessary and appropriate knowledge/skills to keep the student challenged.

I have a soloist diploma in violin performance and many years of experience in teaching all levels. I have played in many different professional orchestras in Estonia and abroad.
Recently I moved back to Estonia and would love to continue my teaching here as well. It has brought a lot of joy and excitement for my students to learn the violin and for me as well, teaching is one of the things that I really love to do.
I focus on building up a strong technique, a warm singing sound and personal expression in music.

Music is in the origin of human history and is one of the oldest form of art and communication. It is the fundament of our culture, of ourselves. Only through music, we as the human race could evolve. Let's learn how to write music by becoming familiar with harmony, solfeggio, counterpoint.

Andrea was born in Latina in 1996. His interest in music began as a child thanks to the influence of his uncle self-taught musician. The fascination of creation and musical production led him at the age of 13 to begin studies of Composition (under the guidance of Maestro Alberto Meoli) and Classical Guitar (with Maestro Giuseppe Gazzelloni and Maestro Marco del Greco) at the "Ottorino Respighi" conservatory in Latina.
During his studies he has participated in numerous masterclasses with composers such as Leo Brouwer, Richard Causton, Toshio Hosokawa, Danny Elfman. In 2018 he participated in the annual composition course held by Giorgio Colombo Taccani as part of the LeAltreNote festival.
His works have been performed in several European countries by artists such as Ensemble Fractales (Belgium), Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (United Kingdom), Estonian Police Wind Orchestra (Estonia), Fabrice Pierre (France), Stefano Parrino, Stefano Di Loreto (Italy ),...
Among the awards obtained: 3rd prize at the Wolfgang Jacobi competition in Trossingen with “Cinque Miniature” for alto saxophone and accordion; 2nd prize in the Musica Nova competition (M ° Ennio Morricone jury director) in Latina with “I am vertical” for ensemble and soprano; O / Modernt Music Award in 2020 in Stockholm with “Ein Körnchen Sands” for mezzo-soprano, cello and piano; audience prize in the Tärkav Vask.ID competition in Tallinn with the piece "Śūnyatā" for wind orchestra; finalist in January 2021 in the Musequal competition in Helsinki with "Le vrai vert de l’ésperance" for violin, cello and piano.
He is currently completing a master's in composition with Helena Tulve at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater in Tallinn, Estonia.

First of all, I try to make my lessons fruitful and varied. Each lesson is a new stage, of course, it all depends on the student's activity and determination. We will definitely review the curriculum. My teaching process includes not only playing the piano, but also music theory, which is very important in the learning process.

Learning to play the cello is a fun and rewarding activity for anyone of any age and and any ability! Connect with music on a deeper level as you learn to create the sounds yourself and experience the joys of making music with other people!

I have helped students to prepare for exams and conservatoire auditions and also taught those who just want to learn for fun and without the pressure of deadlines and exams. I studied in the UK and graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with a Masters degree and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester with a Bachelor's degree, and I also have an Associate of Trinity College London diploma in instrumental teaching.
