My name is Matleena and I’m a classical pianist from Finland, living in Tallinn. I have a Master’s degree from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and I have been teaching piano since 2012. I love teaching, meeting new people and sharing music with the world. I teach students of all ages and I’m always looking for creative ways to make the learning experience interesting. I hold a bachelor’s degree in cello from the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno, where I am also completing my master’s studies this year. I have participated in numerous masterclasses with renowned cellists from various parts of the world.

I believe that music is for everyone and can be learned at any age. What matters most is finding joy and emotion in it.

I am also passionate about photography. I especially enjoy photographing people, their lives, and various social events.

I am currently in the second year of my Master's degree at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, and I am passionate about teaching. I have taught several young children, and I believe that each student should set their own learning pace. My approach is always based on comfort, encouragement, and enjoyment rather than pressure. Music is meant to be enjoyed, and that is exactly what I aim to share with my students.
