Most of the modern songs are composed of 4 chords repeated over and over. If you learn the 8 chords (there are only 8 chords) you can basically learn to play all modern songs. My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.
