Develop your creative writing through worldbuilding, myth, lore, symbolism, poetry, and character-driven storytelling. My own work focuses on dark fantasy and mythic worlds shaped through characters, symbolic systems, atmosphere, and poetic language. I am especially interested in worldbuilding that grows organically from relationships, perception, identity, conflict, transformation, and the internal logic of a fictional universe. In our sessions, we can work on worldbuilding, lore, character development, mythology, symbolic systems, atmosphere, narrative structure, poetry, or the connections between these elements. Rather than simply adding more information to a fictional world, we can explore how its cultures, beliefs, histories, languages, spaces, and characters influence one another and create a coherent whole. My academic background in Comparative Literature, Philosophy, and Archaeology also allows us to approach creative work from different perspectives, especially when exploring myth, symbolism, culture, meaning, and narrative structure. You can bring an existing manuscript, poem, character, setting, lore document, or worldbuilding project. You can also come with only an initial idea. Sessions can be shaped around brainstorming, creative development, feedback, close discussion of your text, or building the conceptual foundations of your fictional world. You do not need to be an experienced writer. The aim is to help you develop a creative language and fictional universe that feel distinctive, internally coherent, and meaningful to you.

Theater History is a Reading, Writing and Academic course that teaches students about the history of Theater, Plays and Poetry. Students will learn how to read and write poems and plays in different Theater Styles. They will also learn essential Academic Writing skills through Poem and Play analysis as well as practicing Creative Writing by creating their own plays and poems. Topics include: Greek Theater, Medieval Theater, Shakespeare, Poetry, Post-modern Theater, Advanced Grammar and Style, Creative Writing, Academic Writing This course is suitable for students who would like to become excellent Writers and Actors.

Learn techniques that allow you to see the world as a poem, keep your inspiration flowing, and allow your muse to run free at last. This course will give the student the confidence necessary to remain inspired in spite of discouragement, whether the discouragement comes from without, or within. Every class will be different, depending on the needs and interests of the student. Poetry, songwriting, and other forms of creative writing are exercises in learning how to get out of the way of the work, and let it come naturally. This 30 minute class is learner guided/directed and designed specifically to bring out the creativity hidden inside you. Each week every learner gets the chance to write a creative piece and share it with the teachers, if they choose to; this class also suits a solo learner. There will be opportunities to produce a poem/freestyle at the end of class. The last 10-15 minutes of class will be The Freestyle Poetry Slam! You will be encourage to develop your poem and taught how to perform it for a Poetry Slam in your area. You will leave the class feeling happy and proud that you have made up your own creative piece to perform to friends and family! We watched a video that provided an overview of these concepts, discussing how they can be used to vividly convey big ideas or emotions in a concise way. We then practiced identifying metaphors and similes, and the students generated their own examples connected to the words we uncovered in a matching game. This led to a creative writing exercise where they composed rhyming couplets using those words as a starting point. The students demonstrated strong skills in bridging the words into cohesive narratives, showcasing their ability to think creatively and apply the literary techniques we covered. We also had a lively discussion about the role of memory and vocabulary in freestyle rapping, and how these foundational skills support more advanced performance abilities.

I have been working as an actress and educator since 2012, and since 2015 I have devoted myself to the study and practice of Butoh dance and physical theatre. My journey in this field began at LUME Teatro, a renowned theatre group with over 40 years of history, where I studied and practised the methodology developed by Luís Otávio Burnier. In 2015, Butoh entered my life and profoundly transformed my understanding of art and existence. Through the work of Kazuo Ohno and Tatsumi Hijikata, I encountered the depth and expressive power of Butoh not only as an artistic language, but also as a way of life. Over time, what began as research has become a guiding philosophy, shaping how I perceive movement, presence, expression, and the human experience. Butoh is a Japanese dance form that emerged in the 1950s. It is a practice that works from the inside out, functioning as an active meditation and a process of self-knowledge. In Butoh, the body becomes an instrument of poetry, subjectivity, and transformation, inviting a deep immersion into one’s inner landscape. Within Butoh, there is the concept of ma, the space in between, referring to invisible and empty spaces where matter cannot be seen, yet which are filled with life and presence. This understanding resonates with aspects of Buddhist philosophy, offering a sensitive invitation to experience oneself, the surrounding space, nature, and life with greater awareness and openness.
