Trombone is a poweful instument, capable of touching the soul of the audience. I've specialized in teaching Trombone since I was 20, the main target of my course is guiding beginners and intermediate develop and practise the instument, and make their own music taste.

I teach students classical disciplines while exposing them to different styles of music. I love teaching and together we enjoy music, and develop the talent that is inside you. I use a range of resources and methods that appeal to individual learners. Through many years experience working in various school, I know many different approaches to piano tuition and created my own teaching style using a multi-sensory approach.

I base my pedagogy on the analysis and diagnosis of your game, much like a doctor. I ask my students to send me 1 hour or 1 day before class a small recording on which I can listen to them play. This allows me to give you (very) detailed feedback on each point on the points you have to work on to improve yourself. We will work: ear and listening, phrasing, sound, Jazz standards and solo notes from your favorite jazz artists. I graduated from one of the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne in "Jazz Performance" and won numerous prizes (Cully Jazz Festival, 1st Prize of the Avignon Jazz Festival springboard, ZKB Jazzpreis). My first album was the subject of numerous press articles and radio broadcasts in Switzerland (Le Temps, Tribune de Genève, RTS) and in France (Jazz Mag, TSF Jazz).

I am a trained professional singer with a Bachelors degree in music from the University of Bristol. As well as singing, I play piano and conduct a professional choir. I'm based near Blackhorse Road station in Walthamstow and teach in my house. I teach all ages and all levels for singing and am happy either working towards grades or just singing for fun. I also teach music theory up to grade 5 to provide pupils with a strong foundation for progressing to the higher grades. I am able to provide socially distant lessons within my own home as well as online. For me the most important thing about music lessons is that they should be enjoyable, whether or not you are working towards an exam. Singing can improve confidence in young children, provide a space to let off some steam for adults or anything in between. I tweak my lesson style based on what you want to get out of the time. I have a 100% pass rate for all my pupils for both singing and theory.

Hello, I am currently studying at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Boulogne-Billancourt. I offer violin, viola and music theory lessons for students of all ages, and all levels (beginners or not). I can follow an already existing method, give "support" courses to a student already in a school or even follow my own method, which I developed during these 4 years of teaching. I specialise in teaching music theory for beginners, using the ABRSM exam board specification/workbooks. My goal is to guide students through the ABRSM workbooks for music theory so that they can feel confident and understand the material fully. I will assign work pages to be completed before the next session (the word 'homwork' often gets a negative reaction!), and include small tests at the end of chapters in the book to test that you're really grasping the information! It is always the right time to start learning music theory, and therefore I am willing to teach beginners aged 7 to 207!
