Beginner Music Theory For ABRSM Grades 1-3 (Age: 7+ years)
From 49.89 C$ /h
I specialise in teaching music theory for beginners, using the ABRSM exam board specification/workbooks. My goal is to guide students through the ABRSM workbooks for music theory so that they can feel confident and understand the material fully. I will assign work pages to be completed before the next session (the word 'homwork' often gets a negative reaction!), and include small tests at the end of chapters in the book to test that you're really grasping the information!
It is always the right time to start learning music theory, and therefore I am willing to teach beginners aged 7 to 207!

About Me
I'm an enthusiatic and motivted individual that likes to stand out a little every now and then! Teaching beginners music theory is something that I have been interested in since starting university, and tutoring online via webcam lets me teach from anywhere, at anytime - to suit both you and me.
Students that are dedicated and hardworking, but also know that they can have a bit of a laugh in sessions will achieve the most. To me it is important that, especially for younger people, these sessions don't feel like school work or a chore, but instead are enjoyable, and something they can't wait to do more of.
I am a keen violinist studying music performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and love to perform primarily with my string quartet.
