Dear All! I would like to offer piano classes on this platform since I have a sincere passion for music pedagogy and for passing on the love for the arts as a beneficial addition to the individual student's life as well as their surroundings. After already 13 years of immersion in theoretical (literature about the psychology of learning, improvisation, keyboard harmony, composition ect.) and practical experience in the field of performing/teaching music as well as foreign languages (Latin, French, German) I would really love to continue passing on my so far acquired knowledge next to continuing my own professional education in piano performance & composition. Sadly I had to take a break from teaching due to unfortunate personal events and the consequences of the pandemic but am working hard now to reestablish myself as a performer and pedagogue with an own homestudio. Since 13 years I have been working on a more modern, open minded approach to music teaching that incorporates current research results on psychology, neurology as well as various imrpovisatory styles and hence I would love to have some updated video evidence/ feedback of my method. I sincerely hope to find nice students who are as enthusiastic as me about joining this socio-pedagogical journey! :D A lot to learn not much to loose as I said, feel free to write to me for more information, hope to see/ hear you soon! :)

Laura is an Italian woman born in Sardinia. She began her studies of music at a young age as a self-taught, and with dedication, she learns to play the recorder and the basics of music. At 14, Laura passes the entrance examination at the music school. She enrolls at the music school and attends lectures in two different high schools: the music school (Conservatorio G.P. da Palestrina) and the pedagogical high school. After the graduation as a pedagogue, Laura continues her musical studies by playing the bassoon, studying in deep music composition, solfeggio, choral singing. After graduating from the musical high school as a bassoonist, she enrolls at the music college, where she successfully concludes her studies as bassoonist (and music related studies) and begins a new course of study as pianist. After the master's degree, Laura moves to Japan, where she supervises a chorus and teaches music and Italian. Currently, she is teaching piano solfeggio and vocal (vocal lessons are just for kids).

(Film) Composition is one of the most diverse professions in the world of music. That's why my lessons are highly individual. I always start with finding out, what your goal is, in order to plan your individual lessons. What music would you like to write? For which purpose do you write music? How is your experience with composition so far? ... In my lessons you can learn about music production, creating mockups in Cubase (or other DAWs), orchestration/music notation and how to write music to picture.

I give flute lessons for all ages (preferably on recorder or fife/picco if you start before 7 years), recorder, piano and theory. I speak French & Russian (bilingual), English and Dutch. I live in Amsterdam-IJburg. You can come to my studio or I can come to you Do you not live in Amsterdam or do you rarely come? Then a mix of online and face-to-face is possible. Over the years I have built a path for my students that respects technical development and the desire to express oneself and have fun with the instrument. In the first phase, at each meeting, I provide the tools and the knowledge to master an aspect of the instrument. The aim of this phase is to make the student technically independent in a short time, so that he can play at any convenient time and choose for himself what he wants to play. We discover the world of improvisation as soon as possible to use the instrument for self-expression. And believe me, you can make music with just one note! † Theory plays an essential role in the lesson and has its own space. I guide my students to understand music as a beautiful language. The pieces we play are often supported by an introduction with a story about their origin. I believe that making music can develop great qualities in a person of any age: the ability to listen, the ability to feel the body, to better identify and live emotions, and a sense of time.
