Piano learning/playing is a broadens the mind and makes understanding faster. Kids that are into playing the piano shows more maturity over their mates. It improves one's self esteem and reduces anxiety.

Music at large is a natural therapy. People who are musical inclined do better in any other program they want to engage in (academics not exclusive).

1. You need to have your own piano/keyboard for your classes and assignments/practices.

2. 5 octaves for beginners, 6 to 7 octaves for intermediate (7 octaves preferred for both beginners and intermediates if possible).

3. Any device with a good camera. For phones, I recommend a tripod stand so as to have a clear view of your hands on the keys.

4. During class activities, devices should be properly positioned for a clear view of the hands on the keys.
