This class is for students of any age who wish to learn the transverse flute. Learning an instrument takes time and commitment, but it's hugely rewarding - and it doesn't have to be boring! I have experience teaching students of all age and levels and I specialise in tailoring my teaching to meet the individual needs of each student. Beginner flute lessons are suitable for students learning from scratch or those already playing up to about ABRSM Grade 2 level. In beginner flute lessons, you will learn the fundamentals of making a sound and play your first notes, as well as the basics of reading music. Intermediate lessons are suitable for students already playing at about ABRSM Grade 3 to Grade 5 levels.
