This course is focused on the abilities, needs, the investment and above all the student's wishes so the results can fit to his / her personal aims. The level is so to speak secondary. The repertoire is so vast (and beautiful!) that everyone finds something pleasant to study and play.

The offered methodologies consist of the instrument appreciation, technique, style, musicality and historical contextualisation (reading and use of period treaties) if the student wishes to approach that area.
Une initiation à la basse-continue est également possible si l'élève en fait la demande. Le cours peut même porter intégralement sur cette discipline.

An introduction to thoroughbass is also conceivable on request. The course can even be fully focused on that field.

About Me

Here comes a short summary so you can know a bit more about me :

I started learning music when I was very young as a pianist. Afterwards I focused myself on Early music with harpsichord then clavichord. I attach importance to both of these beautiful instruments.

I centered my secondary education and my further studies on two close fields : music and languages. I'm deeply keen on scientific research in addition to practice, teaching and sharing because this field helps me to re-evaluate my methodology, my vision of music and its specific aesthetics. Thus it is a noticeable part of my personal, professional life.

To know how to play the harpsichord you have to understand the rhythm because it is a very rhythmic music, preparing the pieces with the metronome becomes essential especially for the music of Bach. Being in license of musicology at the Sorbonne, I can train you in the harmony of perfect chords, fifth and sixth, make you discover interesting methods, cultivate you in musical history of Renaissance and Baroque etc ...
I am in the 2nd cycle of harpsichord at the Schola Cantorum, I can make you discover a wide repertoire from beginner to advanced level. I can help you progress and work a lot if you wish while remaining playful.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The courses will be based on the student's requirements. The method that I propose is aimed at acquiring an understanding of each musical aspect so that the student can achieve complete autonomy from the point of view of interpretation.

Starting with technical aspects of the instrument (position, flexibility, relaxation) we will address all aspects of interpretation, in particular the fundamental notions of improvisation.

TRAINING:
License in harpsichord at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Prof. Francesco Corti and Master in harpsichord and basso continuo at the CNSMDP with professors Olivier Baumont and Blandine Rannou. In the same establishment I also attended teaching courses. I am a winner of several international competitions.

Graduated with a master's degree from the Milan Conservatory, an artist certificate from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and winner of international competitions, I teach harpsichord, piano and music theory in Paris. I accompany beginners or experts to build a solid foundation or deepen their technique, expression and musical culture. I believe that teaching music theory should never be detached from the music played, and I pursue a teaching method linking the two.
