German is not that difficult. We also have to remember that English emerged from this, which is why there are many similarities. About learning itself - it has to be fun, you have to want it. You can also learn the language yourself, you just need a good guide.

As the global lingua franca, the English language is no doubt a powerful tool we use to communicate with one another. For the basic levels we start from the very first forms of conversation and speaking exercise, such as self presentation, describing an object or talking about one's hobbies or favourite book, with the grammar and vocabulary involved. Once the student acquires a primary familiarity with the language, I ́d let the student keep training with more speaking exercises, first with communicative situations in which we come across daily like ordering something in a bar, asking for directions or organizing a weekend out ́til he/she ́ll able to express his/her opinion and to have pure and free conversation on various topics, such as nature, technology, the academic and working world, telling about his/her travels or even on actual world news. On request I can even provide material on our funny dialectal forms, different from region to region :)

in this class you can choose any subject that you need help with and i will be ready to accompany you on a journey to become more powerful in the aforementioned subject. Please note that all the classes are online and for a very acceptable price.

English is a world recognised language, it’s extremely helpful to know especially when applying to top paying jobs anywhere in the world. The routes you can take after studying English are endless. As my student you can choose which area of English you need to focus on and want my help for, I will then focus on that one aspect or if you suggest more than one, I can tailor to that too. I was born and raised in London, United Kingdom and I currently live and study here.

The course would be designed around literature at an age-appropriate level. Once the book has been selected the reading can begin! It will be important to select the right book for you. We can take it in turns to read through the book in order to advance fluency and listening skills. Through the course, we will delve into and discuss themes, characters, new vocabulary, and share thoughts and ideas. Depending on the level it could either involve analyzing in detail, learning about the structure of the text or it could be geared towards vocabulary, fluency and a love of books. It will broaden your language and give you confidence! I have made a list of suggestions you can choose from but you can request any book. I will be able to email over scans of pages that are required for the lessons.

Student in Bachelor of Language Sciences and holder of a literary bac mention very well, I will help you to reconnect with French and its methodology. Pedagogue and organized, I will help you to familiarize yourself with methods and words playfully and passionately. I usually operating as follows: - I'm looking at the problems you have; - We move forward together to solve these problems: explanations, fun exercises, methods, training, tips, about topics that interest you (series, games, movies, cat... whatever!); - For every new problem in your program and every difficulty, we find a solution together; - Then, if there are no more problems, we try to go further: improvements in "details" or more important things, training, exercises, tips, and tricks. But in any case, I adapt my work to the way you work and understand. If you are very "visual", no worries: we will use colors, images, metaphors. If you need repetition to get there, no problem either: we will rehearse and train. And if you need to communicate, to often have help or to receive small messages to motivate you: that's normal and that's not a problem. The main thing is that we can work together to find out what the problem is and what works for you. And if you are struggling, if it does not work, no worry (but it must be said!). We will operate a new way until you get there. I believe in you, but you must also believe in yourself and do your best. This is the only rule of the contract.

Are you passionate about French literature, literary history and the arts? I suggest that we go, together, to discover the great authors who have made our country so charming. Because I believe in a harmony of things, in a correlation of values, I propose a multidisciplinary approach to French Literature. A method combining modern literature (biographies of authors and study of texts; grammar) strictly speaking with literary history and sociology, rhetoric and philosophy, foreign literature, and art in general (theater, opera, cinema, writing, etc.) . Inspired by the Socratic method, mine is marked by dialogue, exchange, incessant questioning more than masterful lessons. Starting from the needs of the learner, from which I also learn, we develop areas of study together. Expertise: Published and awarded writer, for my poetry and short stories in particular, I give lectures and give radio columns on politics and culture. I specialize in 19th century literature and poetry. Educational background: Student in Modern Literature, holder of a literary baccalaureate, former legal student.

English Language, Literature and Spoken Language can be a daunting course, often giving the impression that there is a lot of reading and plenty of long nights spent doing boring essays! Each lesson plan is tailored to the student, the first session allowing me to understand their needs, there are no recycled facts or resources. I specialise in tutoring a variety of but not limited to SATs, GCSEs and Alevel subjects (mainly Religious Studies, English Lit&lang, Bio, Chem and Physics). My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports. Nearer to the examination, I am happy to provide progress reports and assessments every week to make sure the student is prepared! This class aims to throw away the archaic methods schools are happy to employ in teaching their subjects. In doing so, I aim to establish a relationship between the students and their tutor which has shown to promote a healthy work ethic and enjoyment within the classroom! The subjects taught aim to provide demanding and fulfilling content, giving students the confidence that the skills, knowledge and understanding that they will have acquired during their study will help them in their academic journey and life. The class further seeks to equip the student with skills comparable to those of the highest performing jurisdictions in the world, working in conjunction with their schools. Hard work is rewarded and lazy work is sanctioned, there is no slacking in success. I am available all hours of the weekend and during the early/late hours of the weekdays.

My classes are tailored for students individually based on their distinctive requirements. I continually strive to enhance my own work ethic, whilst improving my pupil’s own skill set according to their respective needs. I am passionate, driven, well versed and focused. Once familiar with what a student requires, I work with them to ensure we have a realistic timeline (coupled with adequate guidelines) to abide by in order to achieve their goal. This may of course be altered based on whether it is proving fruitful or otherwise.

Every student is different. That's why I am flexible with my teaching method. While some will learn by example, others might learn by asking questions! My first session with a student will aim to get to know their style of learning and what works best for them! I will then tailor my teaching method to the student. My teaching will provide fun learning through student tailored PowerPoint presentations, interactive whiteboards and video calling. Commonly, one of the criteria for assessment in English is originality of ideas. I encourage my students to ask questions in order to investigate and grow on their own ideas. I teach through example, and students will have access to example essays that achieved A* results at GCSE and A Level as well as a selection of First Class and High 2:1 standard essays at University-level.

My classes are split into 2 categories: 1) English as a foreign/ second Language — for people who want to improve their speaking, writing and want to understand English. These classes are designed for those who are learning English as a second language. -English Literature Advanced — these classes are for those who are studying English Literature and /or Language in school for GCSEs, A-Levels or as undergraduates. Your classes will be tailored to the category that best suits you and your perticular needs.
