I use methodology in my classes, that is, books, however not all my class is based on them since it seems a bit tedious to base my class on a book, I take it only as a guide. In class we will see practical, real cases and depending on your level I will speak complete Spanish during class or perhaps partially, my goal is for you to feel 100% comfortable. My methodology is assimilative, intuitive, dynamic and revolutionary! Depending on your assimilation we will see results in the first weeks! Wolof is the most spoken language in Senegal and Gambia. I've designed the course for people who would like to learn to speak wolof either for family reasons or traveling. In this course you will learn to speak Wolof in basic everyday settings, grammar and depending on your goals we can dig deeper in the language. I have background in linguistics and have experience in teaching languages. I have my Master's degree in African studies and have studied Wolof language for one year intensively as a part of my Bachelor's degree. Classes are focused on grammar (as an important basis for learning process) and speaking. For example: in an one hour class, the first fifteen minutes are focused on useful expressions for daily life, mixed with a small conversation practice to put these expressions in use, then the second fifteen or twenty five minutes are focused on the grammar lesson of the day, and then the rest of the class is totally focused on speaking, in order to put into practice the rules and principles learned during the class.
