ABOUT ME:

I have a BA degree in Teaching English and Translation, and MA degree in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language. I have also worked at the University of California, Santa Barbara as a Turkish instructor. I've been teaching English since 2001 and teaching Turkish since 2004 (in-state schools, at international language courses, and as a private tutor in multinational companies).

I have been teaching Turkish at all levels to students from various nationalities. I teach all levels from A1 (beginner) to C2 ( upper advanced). I began my teaching career (in Turkish) at well-known language schools such as Berlitz and British Side but then I chose to give private lessons. Now, I teach students from all over the world, including online lessons.

In years of experience, I have realized that the current teaching materials are not sufficient and I have begun to develop my own ones. My name is Nelson, and I am a passionate English teacher from Tanzania with three years of experience helping students of all ages and levels achieve their language goals. I currently teach online from Russia, and I've worked with students in classrooms, one-on-one online, and even helped a student pass the IELTS exam to immigrate to Canada.

For adults, I offer online "Free Talk" classes. These classes are very popular and are ok for any age. I currently have a group class of people aged 60s to 80s. If you want to talk about daily life, news, hobbies, traveling, etc. and enjoy speaking English, then this is a good class to do it. Usually a 1-hour class is best as it gives plenty of time. If a shorter, or longer, class is better for you I can do that too. Just ask :)
