I aim to make my sessions as interesting and creative as possible to engage the children and ensure effective learning. The session is spent primarily with me teaching or working through a problem with a child. There's little to no benefit in a child working tirelessly through a task independently with me just sitting watching! As a father, a football coach and a former student with two A*s (one in Further Mathematics) and 5 A grades in my GCSEs (one in English Language), I understand how difficult it can be to support your own child in their learning.
