Trusted teacher: Are you an art student tasked with writing a research-creation thesis and unsure where to begin? Are you struggling to develop your plan? Are you encountering obstacles in structuring and developing your ideas? Are you finding it difficult to connect your practical issues (artistic approach) with theoretical concepts? Finally, are you facing methodological challenges? By using the Constellation Model that I had designed for research-creation, I bring you to explain your intentions and your motivations to the point of exceeding them. By becoming aware of your spontaneous mental and semantic associations, you will gradually be able to build a personal methodology which starts from your artistic practice and which corresponds to both your sensitivity and your cognitive imprint. I also support you in nurturing a sensitive relationship to your own work, but all the same methodical and critical The support includes: - Exercises in mental/semantic associations (how to produce creative and meaningful syntheses?). - Explanation exercises of your identified conscious intentions and motivations. (mindfulness and theoretical contributions) - Help in articulating concepts while starting from your artistic approach. - An introduction to aesthetic and technical retrospective analysis techniques. - Writing assistance - and on request, an introduction to textual analysis techniques. This course is aimed at any artist or student engaged in research-creation and in the preparation of a Master's thesis, in pre-doctoral preparation or in doctoral studies. Being trilingual Arabic / French / English, the language spoken during the accompaniment will be the one you choose. Areas of expertise: |visual arts | arts and new media, digital arts | practice & theory of contemporary art | aesthetics & art history |research-creation methodology

Trusted teacher: I am an oil pastel lover who turns to this medium again and again — when I’m happy, tired, bored, overwhelmed, or simply longing to be surrounded by colour. Oil pastels have accompanied me through many moments of life, always offering comfort, freedom, and expression. Every time I paint with oil pastels, I find a sense of relaxation and inner peace — something increasingly precious in our fast-paced world. Oil pastels are, to me, a truly magical material. They can be firm or soft, bold or delicate, layered or blended. With just your hands and simple tools, they invite both control and spontaneity, making them perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike. In an age where AI can generate endless images, I believe deeply in preserving the human act of creation — the joy of touching materials, playing with colour, and allowing emotions to flow through the hands. Painting is not just about making images; it is about reconnecting with ourselves. I believe everyone has the ability to create art. Everyone has their own sense of colour, rhythm, and expression. **** What you will learn in this class **** 🖼️ Essential oil pastel techniques (layering, blending, texture, and composition) 🎨 Colour combinations and how to develop your own colour language 🖌️ Creative approaches to painting freely and intuitively 🧘 How to use painting and colour as a tool for relaxation, emotional release, and self-care This class is suitable for beginners and intermediate learners. No prior art experience is required — only curiosity and openness! **** Materials **** In-person sessions: All materials are provided, including oil pastels, paper, masking tape, and palette knives. Just bring yourself. Online sessions: Materials are not provided, but I will guide you in advance on what to prepare and how to use simple and accessible supplies. In our sessions, we don’t just paint — we explore, connect, and gently listen to our inner world. I look forward to sharing this colourful, calming, and meaningful journey with you!

Trusted teacher: My teaching philosophy centres around helping students discover their instinctive creative voices through experimental drawing techniques. I believe in the power of intuitive creation, where students are encouraged to move beyond traditional methods, tap into their creativity, and embrace innovative approaches to drawing. This process empowers them to build a strong personal style while gaining the technical skills necessary to express their ideas confidently. As a lecturer at Central Saint Martin's i use my years of teaching experience to help every student unlock their potential, guiding them in finding their unique artistic identity and confidently navigating their creative journeys. Whether you're looking to build a portfolio, develop new drawing skills, or simply explore new creative approaches, I offer a personalised, hands-on approach that meets each student where they are, helping them grow and evolve as an artist. Fashion design isn't just about learning techniques; it's about discovering and expressing your instinctive creative voice. In my lessons, we’ll focus on intuition-driven design—moving beyond traditional, formulaic methods and embracing a more personal, organic approach to creating fashion. Designing with intuition: You’ll learn how to trust your instincts in the design process, whether you’re sketching new ideas or creating full garments. Exploring fabric and silhouette: Through hands-on exercises, you’ll learn how to experiment with different materials, shapes, and textures to create unique and bold designs. Breaking traditional boundaries: My approach challenges you to explore unconventional forms, colours, and patterns, encouraging designs that reflect your own artistic vision.

Trusted teacher: This class is for all music enthusiasts, whether you’re just getting started and need a solid foundation or already experienced and looking to level up. I’m a DJ and music production instructor with 15 years of experience, founder and instructor at DJ School Berlin. I also run my own label and organize events. My classes take place in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, and are fully focused on your needs and goals. I teach both fundamental concepts and creative techniques, while supporting you in the development of your artistic project I also compose music for media (trailers, films, ads, games, etc) and perform live focusing on sound exploration and experimental performance. This means we can absolutely work on different musical genres or more unconventional, creative approaches. Passionate about dancefloor energy, it’s behind the decks and my machines that I feel most alive — and I truly love passing that on. I perform regularly in Berlin in clubs such as Watergate, Sisyphos, Hoppetosse, RSO, Golden Gate, etc., as well as abroad, most recently in Belgrade, London, Amsterdam, Paris, etc. Having worked in an artist management agency (Talent Scoot), I bring an added layer to the sessions — connecting technical skills with artistic vision, and helping you shape and push your artistic project forward --- Courses are available in English or French Sessions usually last 2 hours and can take place face-to-face or online, solo or in a group. . Group sessions (1-3) are friendly, less expensive, and more dynamic in terms of learning. Observing another student practicing, discussing techniques, or receiving feedback often leads to valuable insights. . One-on-one lessons are ideal if you prefer a personalised and efficient approach, fully adapted to your pace and goals. I'll give you the keys to: - Master the fundamentals of DJing on CDJs or vinyl - Develop your own sound and mixing style - Configure and fine-tune your DJ software (Rekordbox, Traktor) - Perfect beatmatching, phrasing, and harmonic mixing - Create smooth transitions and dynamic cuts for engaging sets - Understand track selection and crowd reading to build energy - Discover new music (digging) and organize your library efficiently - Prepare your sets and tracklists for gigs or recordings - Learn to record, edit, and share your mixes and podcasts - Understand sound systems and performance setups for live events I'll also accompany you and advise you on the purchase of your equipment. Classes take place either in my studio in Kreuzberg, equipped with 2 CDJs, 2 vinyl decks, a professional mixer, and a full sound system, or online with a new technic I developed for a immersive learning experience. Sessions are followed by review sheets and homework assignments. They are a mix of theory and practice, covering not just technical skills but also the artistic and performance aspects of DJing, with plenty of pro tips and creative insights to help you build your identity as a DJ. Don't hesitate to contact me for more information, I can send you a detailed document explaining all aspects of the training, the techniques covered, as well as the essential theoretical knowledge. You'll develop a complete understanding of the material, learn how to tell your musical story, create, record, finish, export and share your work. I am looking forward to playing music with you. Trusted teacher: Drawing courses with a unique approach. You'll be amazed at how quickly you level up! For over 10 years, I have been developing a method that allows my students to learn observational drawing at record speed. Through pictorial and observational exercises, my students become adept at drawing *any and all* observational subjects in: 4 months with 1 day/wk classes at 4 hrs/day 2 weeks at 6 days/wk classes at 6 hrs/day . Please choose one of the two courses: >> OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING (B/W): If you don't know how to draw, pick this one. If you "know how to draw except for" portraits/perspective/etc, this is the best program for you too. (details below) >> COLOR OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING: If you can draw anything from observation, but want to understand how color works, pick this one. If your goal is to make oil paintings and you already know how to draw, this is your program too. (details below) . >> OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING (black/white) << For those who want to learn drawing or those who want to improve their drawing skills quickly *Observational Drawing Topics*: Line quality Drawing the hand Using negative space in drawing and in composition Making strong compositions Measuring sizes and angles Drawing plants and furniture Drawing the human figure Shading methods Drawing perspective Drawing with light Composing with light Drawing the interior Drawing the face, proportions Drawing light and shadow Portraiture Materials used: Graphite, Charcoal, Markers/India ink, paper Since this is a technique class, I recommend that you take at least 4 hours/week to be able to experience your improvement class by class. If you wish to take less hours, please note that with a 2 hours/day course, you will complete the program in 10-12 months, which will be caused by not gaining enough momentum during class time. >> COLOR OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING << For those who want to learn color in representational art. Become skillful at using color in your works. *Color Observational Drawing Topics*: Basic color theory Interrelationship of colors Mixing colors Composition with colors: Creating abstract drawings Drawing the self-portrait Drawing the nature-morte Drawing interior/exterior architecture Drawing plants and gardens Materials used: Color pencils, soft pastels, photography, color paper Please note that this course is designed for students who already Can do observational drawings. If you are unsure of your level, I recommend starting with the "Observational Drawing" program.

My class with Ilya was great. Ilya was friendly, very knowledgeable, encouraging and completely flexible to my needs and goals. It was fun to project plan with him for the long-term, and talk about styles and art history. If you're looking for both an experienced, knowledgeable and easy-going teacher, I would absolutely recommend Ilya!

Diana knows a lot about photography and post-production. I really liked the lessons: there was a bit of theory (e.g. how the camera actually works) and then I learnt by trial and error with her. It was very nice, relaxed and enjoyable lessons. I highly reccomend!
