Basic digital photography and post-production course

Have you bought a new camera and you don't know where to start? Do you want to take the next step and start editing your photos, cropping them, making collages or albums and learn some basics of graphic design? Do you want to finally take a breath and start exploring your surroundings with your camera? It is never too early or too late to feed your creativity.

The classes provide the basics of photography, post-production using the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Indesign) and also basics of layout to make small printouts and editions. We will follow a structure to enable the development of a personal project, but also tailor the class to your specific needs and be open to detours. The course can also include outdoor activities and photo-walks.

The lessons are suited for people of all ages with basic or without any knowledge in photography or digital post-production.

Extra information

It is recommended (but not mandatory) to bring a personal camera and a laptop. Phone's cameras can be used too, depending on the need of the student.

Lessons in presence would be preferable and more enjoyable but we can discuss all the specific needs.

About Me

I love to help people develop their desires and possibilities and hope to trigger their sense of wonder. I consider each person a stunning invaluable source of potentials and human richness and I am always eager to learn from the others.

I have started giving classes as a teaching assistant at the university of Architecture in Rome, following the students in their artistic projects, and I also have been guiding and following group workshops about walking and exploring the urban environment. I am now pursuing a Master in Fine Arts to be able to daily practice painting, sculpture and photography, but I would love to train my teaching methods further.

A camera has always been in my hands since I was a kid and during the years I have acquired basic and advanced digital skills.

Humanistic studies diploma, Architecture degree (5 years MArch) at Sapienza, Rome (cum laude) (2013-2019) ,
Master in Fine Arts-Painting, Frank Mohr Institute Groningen (2022-2024).
erasmus in France (Montpellier) and internship in Portugal (Lisbon).

Experience / Qualifications

Collaborations with architecture and landscape design offices in Rome and Lisbon.
Teaching assistant and former junior researcher in landscape design at the architecture faculty in Rome.
Tutor and participant of international architecture and photography workshops.
Architecture license.
C1 English cambridge qualification.
