Coming straight from Dijon, I'm arriving in Poitiers next year! I obtained my DEM in Rouen and studied at the conservatories of Caen, Rennes, Rouen, and Dijon (advanced cycle). In recent years, I've taught in various settings: private lessons, music schools, and intercommunal conservatories in Normandy and Burgundy (Charleval, Bernay). I attach particular importance to the relationship between the student and their instrument. From the very first lessons, it is important that the student feels comfortable with their violin. Then, the approach and attention adapted to each student encourage the path towards autonomy in work, thus naturally developing the pleasure of playing. Listening, I also appreciate when the student arrives with ideas, projects, particular desires! I am open to all styles of music (film music, rock, classical, traditional, etc.). Teaching the violin requires me to constantly question and a necessary pedagogical reflection. Stimulating the desire to learn and arousing the curiosity of the student are the fundamental principles that allow me to reinvent and enrich each of my lessons.

I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice. I'm happy to support you with entrance exams, competitions, orchestra auditions, or when learning new pieces. Each lesson is individually tailored to your goals and skill level. I am studying violin at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw).

These courses are primarily aimed at beginners or false beginners wishing to learn the violin on a solid foundation, in a progressive and motivating way. Trained in classical and chamber music by a conservatory professor, I have developed an approach to the violin that is both rigorous and accessible, always keeping the pleasure of playing as the objective. We work on the essential fundamentals: posture, bow hold, intonation, tone, and basic musicality. Emphasis is placed on a clear progression adapted to each student. Each lesson is personalized according to your pace and objectives, whether it's to discover the instrument, consolidate the basics or evolve towards a more expressive style of playing. Courses are available in French or English.

This violin course is designed for beginners and intermediate students, and aims to develop the essential technical and musical skills for playing smoothly and expressively. The program includes learning the fundamentals of violin playing, such as correct posture, grip, and producing a clear tone. You'll work on scales and arpeggios to develop your dexterity, as well as bowing techniques to master different stroke patterns. Sheet music reading, musical analysis, and music theory practice are integrated into the course to strengthen your theoretical knowledge and music-reading skills. Alongside this, you'll explore a diverse repertoire, ranging from classical works to more contemporary pieces, and will have the opportunity to work in a group to improve your listening and coordination with other musicians.
