DURATION OF THE COURSE AND ITS CONDUCT: Methods adapted to the objectives / desires of the student. My mission: Make learning simple but effective in order to focus on pleasure. The courses are not on the watch. Thus, the student can choose to end the course only when he considers having obtained enough lessons but also to determine the duration in advance if he has imperatives. MY METHOD I adapt my pedagogy according to the student. I am a professional musician and passionate teacher. I specialise in violin, viola & piano lessons for ABRSM exams. I have been teaching since 2012, and since 2016 I have also been teaching over Skype. My students have had many successful results for ABRSM exams, high school scholarship auditions and local music competitions. I also studied in the USA at the Manhattan School of Music, New York, and Chicago College of Performing Arts. I work as a professional viola player across the UK and Scandinavia, with such orchestras as The Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Orchestra of the Royal Opera House (Stockholm), Bergen Philharmonic, Norwegian Radio, Gothenburg Symphony, Norrkoping Symphony, Jonkoping Sinfonietta, Aarhus Symphony, and English National Ballet Philharmonic. Welcome to my profile! My name is Fabiola, and I am a violin and viola teacher and children’s orchestra conductor based in Maastricht. As an active orchestral performer, I bring my professional experience on stage directly into my teaching. I help students develop a solid technique while fostering musicality, expression, and confidence. I use a variety of teaching approaches, including Suzuki, ABRSM, Trinity, and Galamian methods, adapting them to each student’s age, personality, and goals. In my lessons, I also focus on how to practice effectively at home, tackle challenging passages, and prepare confidently for public performances. I began my musical journey with El Sistema in Venezuela and continued my studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, specializing in both performance and pedagogy. I completed a Master’s in Violin Performance with a focus on Spanish music, as well as a symphonic master’s in collaboration with the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra (Orquesta RTVE).
