I will move to Graz for a further master's degree and am available for lessons in music theory and practice. Hello! I’m Roser, a flutist and piccolist currently living in Groningen. I graduated from my bachelor on 2023 in Conservatori Superior de Música “Mestre Tàrrega” in Castelló, Spain. In 2023 I moved to Groningen to start my master studies at Prince Claus Conservatorium. During my bachelor in Spain I worked as a flute and music theory teacher in three elementary music schools and I have complemented my experience with courses in pedagogical strategies. The lessons will be fully adapted to each student and their musical interests or goals. For me it is very important that you can learn all the technical aspects of the flute but also that you can enjoy and express yourself playing the music you like the most.

Cathy started her music teaching career in 2015, and has been teaching students from beginner to grade 8, aged from 6 to 35 years old. She always welcomes students who wish to explore more about music, building up playing the flute as their hobby, as well as growing together with them as their role models. She feels very glad and blessed to be the teacher of her students, as well as being their sister, witnessing their growth and becoming a good friend to them. In the lesson, she would always love to play studies, and exercise, as well as play flute pieces and duets together with the students. To broaden their horizons, she would love to share different music recordings, as well as discuss the music together during the lesson. Cathy believes that it is essential for students to step out of the classroom to learn music, rather than just playing the flute. During years of teaching, she has encountered students taking different examination grades. Cathy understands the importance of choosing the pieces for students, she would love to demonstrate pieces and discuss the preferences with the students together. Hi! My name is Delia and I am a Spanish flutist currently living in The Netherlands. As a professional musician, I find great joy in spreading my love for music, imparting insights and instilling appreciation for this art. My desire to educate people of all ages and levels stems from a profound urge to share all the knowledge acquired through years of dedicated learning under remarkable flute teachers and fellow musicians. During my lessons, I approach music both technically and artistically. I concentrate on refining essential skills such as intonation, breath control, and different articulations, among others. My aim is to empower students to master their instruments, ensuring that they wield control rather than the opposite way and also, to imbue their musical expression with a personal touch. I teach saxophone, clarinet, flute, harmonica, and bass guitar online(virtually). I think it's very important from the beginning to find your individual voice on your instrument. Technique is important, but it will be taught simultaneously with artistic voice. One of the great things about music is being to express your version of yourself on your instrument. What's the point in learning scales if you can't play the song you want to play? From day one, we will focus on all aspects of learning, and of music, at the same time. I'm super patient and I love to teach, and I'll cater my teaching style to the individual student. I look forward to teaching you! About me: I started playing music when I was I ten. I was awarded a partial scholarship to the University of Idaho's Lionel Hampton School of Music where I majored in Classical Saxophone Performance, where I won the Outstanding Jazz Soloist award (2004). I then received a partial scholarship to the Berklee College of Music and studied there with a principal instrument of saxophone, and graduated with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production in 2009. I've spent the last ten years performing full-time, on cruise ships (Carnival, Princess, Holland-America, Celebrity, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, The World), land tours (iLa Mawana national tour), theatre productions (For The Record: The Brat Pack, Broadway's After Midnight), and independent bands (Samsaya Trio, Vivian Clement Quartet). My performing experience has taken me to 70 countries and all seven continents. I've self-recorded and self- produced multiple albums. I've been featured as an arranger in many settings, including Robert McFletcher's LOVE. I have three of my own shows (A Public Saxophone and other Bedtime Stories, Just Sax, and CBSAXLIVE). While I studied saxophone as my primary instrument, I also play flute, clarinet, harmonica and bass guitar at a professional level. My degree is in composition and recording/production, so I would love to help anyone getting started in that area. I also teach music theory for those interested in learning theory.

In further years, I pack my Traversal Flute and ride my bike searching for new musical experiences. Then I made a stop at each street musician I found to play with him/her. That was the way I start my path in the fascinating world of improvisation. After almost 10 years of Jam sessions and spontaneous musical meetings, I become an expert in music Improvisation. My method of learning has 4 cornerstones Hearing Playing Theory (tonalities, modalities, intervales, harmony) Creativity (psychology and music)

I am a music teacher by profession and have had experience teaching flute, piano, recorder as well as subject music (including theory, music history and music in film study) at a prestigious high school in South Africa. I received my BMus degree at the Nelson Mandela University in the Eastern Cape and received tutelage from Dr Erica Bothma and Dr Erna Cloete. I can teach flute and recorder up to an advanced level, and piano from beginner to a grade 5 level. I am also able to teach music theory up to a grade 5 level. I can provide both structured lessons with the goal to play/write an exam, or provide lessons just to learn for the pleasure of playing an instrument. Each pupil will be treated for their individual needs and desires. I can offer my lessons in English and/or Afrikaans. Unfortunately I do not have a piano in my home yet. I have always had a love for music and have wanted to share that love with the world. I look forward to hearing from you!

Ciao! My name is Giampaolo. I have recently moved to Edinburgh from Sicily, Italy, where I worked as a music teacher for 13 years. I have been teaching the flute since I was 15 years old. Most of all I think learning music should be enjoyed. While it is a challenge to learn a new skill, for beginners, or to master a new piece, for the more advanced, I aim to make this challenge enjoyable at every stage. I enjoy teaching students of all abilities, from teaching beginners the basics to helping more advanced flautists play new styles. If a student has a technique that they would particularly like to improve, I tailor the lesson to fit the student's needs, so he/she feels happy they are working towards their own goals. I have been teaching the flute privately for 13 years since I was 15 years old. During this time I have taught students of all ages, from children to adults, and have also taught at primary school (for one year) and secondary school levels (two and a half years).
