The workshop teaches participants how to create selfmade painting and drawing materials from natural pigments and colours (vegetables, plants, soils etc.) and different painting and drawing techniques with these natural colors (watercolour, oil painting, crayon drawing etc.). The workshop has two parts: First, we will experiment together with different ways to craft our own colours from natural ingredients. Then, artworks on paper or canvas will be created.

The impacts on the state of the environment are now more than ever evident. This class will teach you how to implement more sustainable practices into your lifestyle to reduce the impacts of global warming. In addition, this class will also discuss topics within the Natural Resource Management and Environmental Science field, predicaments facing the environment today, and what we as a society can do to change or reduce these problems.

Through this class you will learn basics about the concept of sustainability, how it has evolved as a field, what is the current state and future trends. Equipped with the background knowledge, you will learn what can one do as as individual to better for the people and planet we live in. I have a Master's degree in Sustainability from Lund University, Sweden and currently working as a strategist at the regional development office. I will share with you all I know after living 30 years in an ecovillage and transforming a local community on a remote pacific island.
