The Arabic language is said to be very difficult but I think otherwise, one of the oldest languages in the world and also very fun. I provide classes for traditional Arabic for when you want to read the news, follow speeches or use it for academia. If you are planning on visiting an Arabic speaking country then you will definitely need the Egyptian dialect as it is one of the most used and understood dialects in the Arab world plus it's very fun.

Are you looking for cello lessons? I have been giving cello lessons to all ages and levels for 10 years now. The cello is an extremely versatile instrument and therefore never gets boring, even after years of study there is still so much to discover! I also teach Baroque music for more advanced students. In these lessons I will go into the regional technique, the basso continuo playing, ornamentation, etc. This can be done on a modern cello as well as on a baroque cello. I also regularly coach ensembles (early and classical music). I then pay a lot of attention to the function of each voice and the creation of an ensemble sound.

After studying for two bachelor's degrees one Master's degree in Composition and a Professional degree in violin, I am currently working as a freelance artist in Den Haag. Being involved in music education since I was 6 years old - starting to study in a conservatory at the age of 8, together with my eight years of practice as a music teacher - has given me enough experience to understand the wishes and needs of a music apprentice. Music is a wonderfully pleasurable form of expression and should be enjoyed with fun and sensitivity. However, discipline -without pressure- can not be forgotten. In my lessons, I try to train the body and brain simultaneously to develop the student's adequate skills to play the instrument and learn the musical language in an efficient and stimulating way. If you are looking to explore the wonderful sound world that the violin can offer you, please, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be glad to help you.

I studied the University of Mathematics and I have an experience of over 7 years in teaching mathematics to children. I'm passionate about children's development and mathematics, hence I'm combining the two to motivate children and to explain through various methods adjusted to their way of thinking and understanding. I also have experience with students willing to go for the Toelatingsonderzoek 21+ (Wiskunde B, HAVO) and able to get them started from the basics when needed. Majority of my previous students were admitted and graduated universities around the world, on topics that have mathematics as a background (e.g. architecture, construction engineering). I'm currently working for a software company, but I'm willing to dedicate the afternoons/weekends to supporting kids learn and develop.

Teaching music is teaching a new language. A language that must be learned in all its different forms (speaking/playing, listening, reading and writing) in order to be understood. One of my main interests as a piano teacher is to provide the students with the most possible instruments for their own development, in order to awaken in them the consciousness of being as they play their instrument. In the current experience, everything is moving ahead of you at a very fast pace and almost even digested. To come into contact with the art of playing the piano is to immerse yourself in the most beautiful experience of self-discovery while making music, in a bottomless sea of inner growth. Teaching is another form of communication, keeping traditions alive and giving life to the information by passing it on. My passion is to communicate through the language of music art, using it as a bridge to reach souls, the souls of tomorrow who will keep this tradition alive.

Learning languages is like opening windows on the world. And not only it is very enriching, but it is MUCH EASIER than one can imagine. With the right teacher-student relation, the right amount of interest and a useful and interactive method, any language can become very familiar to the learner in only a few sessions. It then builds up by practicing and applying the acquired knowledge to everyday-life, until the learners find themselves thinking in that language in some contexts. No ons speaks any language in absolute perfection. But there is a start to learning, and then developing the skills and understanding the language in question, in order to develop and carry on with a solid progression. It is a life time process that only gets more and more interesting. It ripes like a fruit. Plant the seed today! I will help you water it to a beautiful fruitful tree! Learning a language is one of the most altruistic and humanistic gymnastic you can initiate your brain to.

I am a English and French bilingual second year university student at Leiden University. Having attended both a French school and a British school I believe I would be well suited to aid students following such programs. Furthermore, I can encourage students to feel more comfortable with their foreign language use and help them reach their target grades. Finally, I am calm and stress-free but can also straightforward. I am a student at Leiden University bilingual in French and English. I think I can be a good candidate to help students from French or British schools since I was a student in both of these school systems. In addition, I will encourage the students to feel more comfortable with their foreign language. Ultimately, I am a calm person who knows how to be direct.

I am a recorder and classical singing student at the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague. I have experience with teaching the recorder to students aged 4 to 60 years old. My lessons are characterized by a relaxed atmosphere and I find it important to listen to the wishes of my students and adapt my lessons to their personal needs. For the younger students, I aim to teach a combination of recorder technique and posture, music theory and singing and stimulate their creativity in a playfull way. In this way they become acquainted with all aspects of music making. I also aim to incorporate ensemble playing in my lessons, together with me or with other students.

I have been teaching cello for over ten years. My students' levels have ranged from picking up the cello for the first time to preparing for auditioning to music conservatories at the college and pre-college level. I've worked with students as young as 5 years old as well as adults. I am a graduate of The Juilliard School, and have experience teaching at Juilliard Pre-College. I moved to The Netherlands in September of 2019 and have since then earned an Artist Certificate at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague in baroque cello. Teaching has been a huge part of my life as a performing musician, as it encourages a constant curiosity of showing others how to make music and enjoy music themselves through the cello.
