Violin and Music Theory Lessons for Children and Adults
From 58.3 C$ /h
After studying for two bachelor's degrees one Master's degree in Composition and a Professional degree in violin, I am currently working as a freelance artist in Den Haag. Being involved in music education since I was 6 years old - starting to study in a conservatory at the age of 8, together with my eight years of practice as a music teacher - has given me enough experience to understand the wishes and needs of a music apprentice.
Music is a wonderfully pleasurable form of expression and should be enjoyed with fun and sensitivity. However, discipline -without pressure- can not be forgotten. In my lessons, I try to train the body and brain simultaneously to develop the student's adequate skills to play the instrument and learn the musical language in an efficient and stimulating way. If you are looking to explore the wonderful sound world that the violin can offer you, please, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be glad to help you.

About Me
I am a Spanish composer based in The Hague. My main instrument is the violin but I studied piano as well for many years and today I continue my practice with both instruments.
As a player, I try to convey to my students the joy and curiosity to discover what the instrument can offer them, as well as to teach them to forge a healthy relationship with the instrument.
As a composer, I try to open the student's mind to a world full of sound possibilities. Improvisation, the development of musicality and creativity play an important role in my classes. Likewise, musical theory and the technique of the instrument are introduced through fun but without completely forgetting the discipline.
But if your interests go beyond learning to play the violin or piano, I can also help you with your interest in music: music theory, counterpoint, harmony, music editing, orchestration, composition, etc.
If you have an interest in the violin, the piano or music in general, do not hesitate to contact me. No matter your age, your skills and your interests, I will be happy to help you.
