For the last few years, I've been working for a prestigious language agency in France. I have a lot of experience working with kids and teenagers. Each tutorial is geared around the needs of the individual child. Some children are visual learners, others are more tactile, while others still have difficulty focusing.

For beginner students, we work with visuals and then we do a lot of role playing, identifying the visuals we revised earlier. One of the games we play that kids love is The Grocer, where they sell or buy the items on display. We also play The Pub ( restaurant) and we use real menus and paper money. There's lots of signing and dancing, of course....

For the older kids, we work on things such as poetry, audio-skills by watching and discussing video clips, and lots more. I have one ESL student who is interested in literature and we tackled some of the easier classics like Hemingway.
